Thank you. The instructions were so convoluted I needed a video. Also, I have the black 5-shelves and the packaging and instructions are different. You have to slide all the poles from the top.

Lay 2 poles on floor slide shelf thru both , then turn unit & slide thru opposite 2 poles ( on floor )

Thank you I really like the idea of giving that 5 inches on the bottom to store small flat items, that's a really good idea so I've now changed it from the very bottom to five or six inches. The brand I have is a little bit different which is HDX but I liked your instructions because I have a chrome one and the other instructions on KZbin all are dark so you can't really see them adjusting the tapered sleeve. Yours you could see the black sleeves clearly on the Chrome bars. I also like that your video is clear and not cluttered, and also that it was the very tall 72 inches five shelf and I think you are saying 36 in wide? That's exactly what I've got. And yes I wish I had somebody to help me too lol! Thank you

This is the difficult way of installing it. If you've read the instruction manual, you can pre-assemble the black thingies with the word "top" on it. Then, place the shelve so that it can stand up by itself. then stick the rods in it holes. No need someone to help you or to complain that you're by urself. Also, you've installed the black things with the word "top" on it all wrong too. You're suppose to slide it down until it clicks, then you can slide your shelf down. This way it won't fall off. Next time, read the instructions. Also, the floor isn't suppose to be used for storage. The reason why there's a "forced" gap between the shelf and the floor is for easy cleaning. You can easily stick a broom/mop/vacuum. It also prevents your stuff from getting wet if you spill anything.

My goodness, how nitpicky for someone who can't spell. (Example: A single shelf is not a "shelve." ) Maybe your floor isn't used for storage, but I need every spare bit of space I can get in my craft room. I keep small items in plastic Sterlite boxes with snap lids under the bottom shelves. It's not complicated to pull out four small boxes to vacuum, and they are water-proof. Oh BTW, the "black thingies" are called anchors. Maybe you should read some directions, too.
