I remember anxiously awaiting this performance, especially after everyone said she didn't have it any more because of the GMA debacle, and I remember rooting for her and being nervous, and she knocked it out of the park! When Queen Reba teared up, you knew she killed it! I will always root for you, Whitney, always.

She is the only singer/artist/performer who never afraid nor faked her performances even in her worst condition. she is so brave and that's what makes her "THE VOICE" and no one will dare to give that tittle to any another artist. No one will ever come close to her nor can duplicate her, not even before and mostly not even today, even if she's gone. She still remain "THE VOICE".

The wonderful thing about Whitney is that even when her voice was not 100 you can still tell she could sing. Sometimes singers lose their voices and sound a complete mess, off-key, bad runs, you can't tell they ever knew how to sing. The Voice may have gotten raspier, the high notes may not have been there, but the technique was always still there and you could always tell that this woman could SANG! My all time favorite through thick and thin. Despite what people think, she loved God, she loved her daughter, she loved her fans, we love her back!

@Ed Miller A) "Sang" is slang for someone who is so good the word "sing" isn't good enough to describe them and their talent, and B) if you're only goal to make idiotic and derogatory remarks about Whitney, then kindly go someone where else or keep them to yourself. People come here because we love Whitney and don't care whether or not her Australian performance was to your liking. We love Whitney regardless and no one here wants to hear Whitney-haters and your nasty comments. Why are you even here if you think so little of her?

my honest opinion on my dear precious Whitney. Being a performer and singing was obviously super important to her. More than we can imagine. You think of her as a careless I-just-want-to-party-girl -- think again. Look at this video! She has the voice here, and she blossoms, you can see how she's inspired!! Now go look at her other 2009 performances when she doesn't have the voice -- and see the fear in her eyes, the lack of confidence. I'm convinced she wanted to sing and deliver more than anything else in the world. And when she couldn't, that bothered the hell out of her. When she could, she just soared.

I completely agree - I was a teen when Whitney hit the music scene and have absolutely adored her and her music - the incredible VOICE inspite of her tumultous marriage, her many problems she faced in the entertainment industry - the drugs - like ALL of us she was not perfect. I had a difficult time dealing with her death and still grieve terribly. I have every last one of her CD's still - she was and will always be the greatest female vocalist of ALL time...I pray she is resting in peace...

My heart is still broken over her death. I had the honor of growing up in the era of Whitney and she was my musical idol since I was 6 years old. 28 years later, she's gone. The Queen of Pop is gone and there will never be another Whitney. I remained a fan even after the drugs, it just made me sad to see her like that and remember what she was at one time and what she still could be. This is one fan who will always love her.
