Like a lot of people, it was Jack's performance on The Voice that brought me here. Watching his memorable win on Australia's Got Talent, it was obvious and goes without saying, what a phenomenal singer he was, and is. What was less obvious at the time was the amount of pressure that was placed on him at such a young age, as the competition progressed. If you watch the semi final and his breathtaking rendition of "And I am Telling You", the judges poured superlatives and compliments on him that I'm sure were welcomed, but probably left him walking off stage feeling like he had everything to prove and an almost impossible reputation to live up to. It was almost too much. It's not suprising that he fled the limelight for 5 years and lost his love for singing, but he deserves another chance, and will hopefully be stronger and more resilient this time around. Welcome back Jack. You've got this!

I grew up in the 80's when Whitney was relatively unknown and for this teenager to hit the notes he hit and sang it the way he did is quite impressive and probably still has me watching it over and over. The fact that standing ovation went on for as long as it did was also nice. The middle judge holding her hands on her face like she did you can hear her saying, "OH MY GOODNESS this is our winner right here!"
@MizzKQ5 жыл бұрын
Whitney Houston is one of those legendary singers that you should NEVER attempt to sing one of their songs on this type of platform unless you have the goods to back it up. Obviously this beautiful boy had the goods to back it up! No one will ever be Whitney but the ones who can sing her songs that close to her level certainly deserve all the success they obtain in the music industry.

They are exactly how I always wanted a true Italian family to be like. And they are of Italian persuasion. Dave himself is extremely talented musician. He taught himself to play the piano and classical guitar. His brother used to sleep on my couch after school with his mate, and he's now my accountant. To Rosa, I am so very very sorry for the loss of your husband. I know the miracle of your even being here and the sacrifice your mum was granted or these beautiful people would never have been in my life. What I said, Mrs DeVito will understand. Thank you
