I like Dolly's and glad that she wrote it... But NO ONE will EVER be able to touch Whitney's version... Even Dolly herself said so. Whitney's will forever me the greater of the 2. Both are awesome tho. BTW, this is still Whitney's version... Not Dolly's. Don't know if you meant to comment that under this video.

@@RedRaiderIz Well, too, it’s a matter of taste. I prefer the softer, gentler approach of the original. To me, I look at it from two different approaches. Dolly for the lyrics and feeling the song, and Whitney for the vocal performance. To me, the best version, actually, is the one Dolly did with Vince Gill. You take two great voices, put them on an amazing song, it gives me chills every time I hear it. To me, that version far exceeds Whitneys. When that harmony comes together on that last chorus during the build up, then it gets soft at the end,,,, chills. Keep in mind though, this is just my opinion.
