After the marriage & The Bodyguard put her on a Michael Jackson level the world press would be relentless & she was forever jaded & guarded & defensive, which was exactly what the press wanted. Whitney Houston was famous. Nippy just wanted to sing & I truly believe she would have been thrilled with a success on the level of Dionne or Donna Symmer or Gladys. She never had a drive to be a world dominating megastar like Barbra or Diana or MJ. U know stars like Madonna & Jennifer & Beyonce LOVE the public eye. Nippy never wanted that.

When she was a child or early adolescent, she wanted to be a veterinarian. But she learned that God gave an angelic voice. Before she died, a preacher said that God wanted her to preach and her voice would be restored. I think she would have brought a lot of people to Christ.

Bobby wasn't the right man for Whitney and is certainly responsible for a big part of her downfall. Despite all of the hurt Whitney went through from a very early age, she still remained the kind and humble person she always was. Even when she wasn't sober, Whitney was still a much more respectable person than many other people (in her shoes). When people didn't respect her (many journalists and others did), Whitney let them know. Whitney supported numerous charity organizations, people she knew (pay for operations of personnel...) and helped lots of young colleagues like Brandy and Jordin Sparks.

Whitney was always Whitney. Here, she even mentions one of the pressures placed on a singer/performer (before singers started letting the track sing). She and Bobby loved each other, but sometimes two people are NOT the BEST persons for each other. Trying to keep that marriage together, her personal demons (which will drive you to substance abuse if that's where you find comfort), and the drugs took Whitney down.

She was indeed very early pregnant here she hadn't revealed it to the public yet hints why she is blocking her belly. Whitney had just suffered from a miscarriage on the set of the bodyguard so at the time of her pregnancy of Bobbi Kris she wanted to wait until she got in the safe zone without the miscarriage risk before she spilled the beans.

Whitney was SA when she was young, which is something I dont think she ever gotten help for, at her highest of her career, some black people started calling her that her music was white "whiteney", then she got booed at soul train. Months later she was hitting on Bobby. In my opinion I feel she lived her life through other people's opinions and not how she wanted to live her life. Her whole family were on her payroll, then her dad stole millions from her and then sued her 100million after she fired him. The only time I saw her really happy and drug free was during the Bodyguard era. After she got married & went on tour. It was over. Drugs was her way of coping.
