Whitney did a wonderful job, but if you EVER get a chance to visit Milwaukee, Wisconsin, there's a local band there called the Eddie Butts band and my GOD, they were incredible on this song and many others! I'll NEVER forget them doing this song! I saw them at a festival Milwaukee has every year (largest in the country I think) called Summerfest and it was over 25 years ago that I dated this girl who lived there at the time and she begged me to go the concerts. There were many main acts with #1 records from around the world, but this was her favorite band and I could see why. They were incredible! I haven't been to Milwaukee in a loooooooooog time but if i ever get back, and they're still around, I'm going to see them! Matter of fact, I'm going to Google It now. And Darn, I miss Whitney!

@xMizShaylax It's a jazz-composition, written by Russell Ferrante. Search for "Jellowjackets Revelation", and you'll hear the instrumental original version. Lyrics were added by a worship-trio, and so it became a "gospel"

As I always say the anointing is something irrevocable, since God anoints someone is forever! The gift is God who lends us to do His will here on this earth! When God gave the gift to Miss Whitney Houston gave in portion pressed down, shaken together and overflowing! And why so much trouble and so many fights because for a great gift, there is always a great responsibility! But we take into account that this girl sang the gospel all over the Earth. Perhaps a crooked way, with your life being a big mess, but she did! In countries of Muslim culture in countries with authoritarian or communist regimes ... Tell me what is this, if not a ministry? The most unusual and thoughtless ministry, which no man could devise so crazy that is ... But as God uses the foolish things of this earth to confound the healthy

HEY, SHE KNEW, MET, GAVE HER LIFE TO JESUS & LIVED FOR HIM, NEARLY ALL HER LIFE...WHAT DO YOU MEAN?????
@SP-fw1xe Жыл бұрын
She gave and still gives me LIFE through her music (the secular and the gospel) so if that isn’t doing “the Lord’s work” then I don’t know what is. God wants us to enjoy LIFE, not wait until we’re dead to receive some reward. Life is not a test by God, it’s a gift from God. A lot of y’all are gonna be mighty surprised and pissed after you pass away and realize that too late. A bunch of unhappy repressed people walking around lying about being happy isn’t living and is not pleasing God. You don’t have to “give yourself” to God since God is the life source that runs through the entire universe. You cannot ever be separated from God.
If you want to read the names of the musicians, the singers and the dancers, read the description!
