Mhm, it's actually the reason why I liked "Issues". It suited her voice. As for your last sentence, I'd even argue that people nowadays are SICK of belters. The audience loves alternative, folk, acoustic, etc. nowadays, so if Whitney took this into account, it would've made her chances increase. She simply can't compete with Ali when they're fighting in the same field.

Whitney is talented and I'm sure that this is not the end for her. I personally feel like she didn't tailor some of the songs to fit her voice. She picked a Whitney Houston song and then a Patti Labelle song but those songs were too big for her voice. "Bigger" doesn't always equal better. Ali was incredible. Great performer and one of the best performances VOCALLY on the show and I'm about the vocals first and foremost.

Ali is AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!! It might look like she forces the high notes but it sounds both effortless and pure. I believe it flowed very well and it was so smooth. Sometimes forcing notes does not work well for singers but, in her case, I think it's very beneficial and entertaining. I love Alli's voice and truly think she is both a significant and talented figure in this world today. I pray and hope we see lots more of her.
