People can snark on Whitney and Patricia for their own amusement, but I absolutely appreciate them both for their dedication to beauty and craft. Living in a historic structure isn’t easy or without its pecuniary and emotional investment. We’re incredibly lucky to witness the detail of this exquisite property. And FWIW, I love what Whitney did with the cottage off the main house. It’s sexy and sophisticated. Who wouldn’t want to sip something there?❤

My issue is that Whitney has been stuck to Patricia's apron strings to the point. He has Peter Pan syndrome. For him to show off this house as if it's his own. It's not! It's his mother's. I think it's a shame that Patricia wasn't the one who got to show us around her own home. I find Whitney to be one of the strangest people for a television show. He got lucky that he sold Southern charm and that it's still on. Even though it's on its last leg.

Yes it is. She’s getting older though so It’s possible that she might have transferred ownership to him now so that when she dies he doesn’t have to pay inheritance tax on it. But that’s just a guess.

The comments are bizarre. He’s lived almost his entire life in this house; it’s his house too. I don’t know why people are being weird about this. He obviously helps care for his mother and the household as well; we’ve literally seen this for years now. His mother is in her 80s; she’s not ensuring that the bills are being paid and everyday household stuff is being done, she has a hard time even walking around much of the time. Notice how she’s almost always sitting down in her scenes? That’s Whitney taking care of all of that. This is also just quite common in families, regardless of wealth. A lot of bitter people talking a whole lot here.😳

My 6x's Grandfather was Nathaniel Greene who was Washington's Major General in the Revaluation - His wife my 6x's Grandmother was Catherine Greene and there are News articles of her dancing with Washington at the Officers Ball...
