OR as females WE could quit emphasizing beauty. I went to a very small high school. I was prom queen AND voted class clown. I remember sooo many people being so proud of me being prom queen but not class clown. I personally knew at 17 that being class clown would matter in 20 years cuz personality stays and looks don’t. We ALL need this attitude.

That made me so sad for her when she said she felt ugly compared to them. Wish she could have seen herself through my eyes back then. I always thought she was super cute and her performance captivating. Couldn’t take my eyes off her in many scenes they shared. So many of those typical beauties I find boring to look at very quickly.
@nameless.faceless. Жыл бұрын
@@Netti103but she’s not emphasizing beauty, the world around her is and she’s just having those realizations that the world values this the most and she’ll never be that in their world. That’s a valid realization, especially when being the pretty girl pays quite a bit in opportunity, gifts, influence, & money. It’s fine to deconstruct your ideas on beauty but we live in this world and we won’t even know to deconstruct from the ideals of this society until we have major realizations about them that give us insight. It’s perfectly fine and normal to be hurt or disappointed by the realization that you’re not going to have the easier, instantly gratified & more rewarded role in society.

This is the first podcast of Whitney’s that I’ve watched because I love Taryn Manning so much. But I felt for Whitney when she said she had to watch her parents die. My dad has been sick since I was in 4th grade on and off but progressively worse as he got older, and he passed in 2022 from stage four cancer that had metastasized. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life. Thank god he had great health insurance but I took care of him the whole time and spent all my time with him up until he passed away in hospice. He means the world to me and I’m proud that I can say I took care of him. I hope I never have to do that again for someone in my life. I feel like a slow painful death is way worse than a quick death. I’m still having a hard time about my dad passing, and my heart goes out to anyone who is in this situation or will be in the future. ❤

The point of relativity is that, once a person gets deep enough into Hollywood’s lifestyle and ways, the activities within the Hollywood CULTure are CULT-like equal to that of Jim Jones’ following. Get deep enough and whether you want to be there or not, are a brainwashed believer or not, you’re gonna be drinking that kool aid be it you eagerly want to or, are being obliged and force fed. That’s exactly what happened during the Jonestown massacre and it’s a perfect euphemism of what is claimed widespread about the culture within Hollywood.

Her storytelling skills are phenomenal and she's aware of her intended audience. It is clear that she's on a journey and working thru her own process of spiritual development. Given the nature of Hollywood, she's exactly where she can be in this very moment. I hope she continues to get to know the heart of God and turning towards the narrow path....it ain't easy, but it's worth it. I also hope she finds divine community that can support her throughout the journey. I found Christ almost the same way as Taryn. I was a staunch atheist, started meditation and realized spiritual world is real. Studied Islam, practiced new age and the more I studied and read , the more entities I experienced during deep meditation, the more the questions about Jesus came into mind. Its a long crazy unbelievable story, but ultimately I found that Jesus is God and is the absolute truth. Nobody had issues with my spirituality until I gave my life to follow and believe in Christ Jesus. People will believe literally everything and anything before they dare believe in God of the bible. Aliens, ghosts, channeling spirits is all good but Jesus? Nope, shes nuts. Funny that.

I love you Taryn for being brave and sharing your true self!! I wish for the day that I can say and do what I truly feel. There are so many people that talk my ear off and I rarely EVER get to talk. I hope to find myself around more people that will let me participate in conversation. I spend a lot of time by myself so I can, at least, hear my own thoughts. Incessant talking drives me absolutely nuts at this point in my life. ❤❤❤. I can relate to wanting to tell someone to “shut the F up”…. “Let me talk for at least 2 minutes!!”

Thank you for this. I've been following Taryn since Boomkat and Hustle & Flow lol...I believe she is describing her very own spiritual awakening and RIGHT NOW the universe is collectively experiencing the same...including myself. She's a leader in her own right and I'm grateful you gave her this chance to speak fluently of her experiences...SHE IS A GIFT. 💓

I love Taryn manning. Always have since early 2000s. I believe her fully. I truly feel like she’s one of the most trust worthy out of all the celebs. She’s not scared and she’s trying to warn us ❤

Taryn is real. She took the time to speak with me and next thing you knew we were on the phone for an hour…she is loving and VERY empathetic. I wish she was judged less and allowed to be herself. If we belong to a society that constantly screams “ACCEPTANCE” then accept her. Taryn is an artist. AN ARTIST 👩🎨 let her be her and stop judging her and wanting her to change..thank you Lord she is her beautiful self! Love you girl ❤Love Heather (MommaofEJA)
