I HATE it when people say: “Yes you do want kids, you just don’t know it yet/you’ll change your mind.” Like NO I won’t. And that’s perfectly okay. My boyfriend is the oldest of nine siblings and two of his four sisters already have two sons and two daughters between them, and both sisters are pregnant again and expecting baby number 3. So that’ll give us a grand total of six nieces and nephews. What do we need to have kids for? My boyfriend was basically a third parent growing up, and that was enough for him. He didn’t accidentally get a vasectomy. We’re perfectly fine being the fun aunt and uncle.

It's hilarious because Kristin has been on The Hills for like 5 minutes. Brody since the beginning and when Brody shows up at his bday party the caption says "Brody, Kristin's ex-boyfriend.' Is that a downgrade or an upgrade? I have to say I miss this kind of reality TV without the couch interviews, it seemed more natural. Plus every minute spent on a couch interview is less coverage of actual footage.

But she stays with Spencer?! Like what?! Jordan looks like the world's best boyfriend when you compare him to Spencer. Spencer treats her like crap on national television and makes her look like a piece of crap person and friend. Her social/family life outside of Spencer starts falling apart. He treats the people in her life that she supposedly loves and cares about like crap as well (her mom, sister, Lauren, etc) All I can think is that she really must love him or else why would she have stayed with him back when she was on the hills and her life outside of Spencer continued to fall apart around her. @@luisa2020 I watched a few episodes of the first season, but I couldn’t get into it. I much prefer watching Whitney and Tim react and make fun of old episodes 🤣 IMO, the “magic” of what made Laguna Beach and the original Hills is gone. Compared to reality tv these days, Laguna Beach was on a different level and actually felt “real.” And I know that it was already moving into a much more manufactured reality even in the first season of The Hills, but it still had those moments where you could actually see real emotions and reactions they were having to the events in their lives. Or at least that’s how it has always felt to me when I watch it. My all time favorite moment on The Hills might be when Elodie tells off Heidi at Bolthouse. Heidi was already in her own alternate reality and needed to be taken down a peg. On a separate note, I’m not sure what makes me more sad to see, Heidi’s toxic relationship with Spencer or her overboard plastic surgery. She was sooo much cuter before she went off the ledge. The scene where Heidi’s mom sees her for the first time is so sad to watch 😢

It’s because they used the people around Lauren to create multiple storylines and they just have Kristin carry all the whole storyline. It helped balance things out for Lauren where she could always look like the nice one, whereas Kristin had to play all personalities since they knew she could do it and she was the most interesting.
