I bought a wheel hoe from you many years ago (back when you still sold the kits). I used it today while I was working in the garden with my mom. It was great!

“This just shows you it could be done” Sure, but there are easier methods. That said, I might want one of these contraptions for my garden. Definitely not my driveway. Uffda!

Well that answers my question about rocky soil. I wonder what would make the best plow for making raised beds, a double wheel, or single wheel. I'm sitting in front of Autocad dreaming about my garden and the 200' of fencing I got last weekend.

I don't know which plow would be best for that. When I gardened in raised beds, I made them by hand, with shovel and rake, as I show and tell in this blog post: thedeliberateagrarian.blogspot.com/2015/04/how-i-make-raised-garden-beds.html

Thank you for the awesome video, and greetings from Finland! My plan is to use a rear tine tiller to remove weeds from compacted gravel. I intend to turn the soil upside down, burying the weeds in the process. The area is approximately 150 square meters. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you for your comments and help!

My experience with a rear tine tiller and hard or rocky soil is to set the tines to not go very deep at all. The harder or more rocks the more passes you will need to make. If you have counter rotating tines might be a little better. I have very limited experience with those. Rear tine tillers is all about adjusting depth to match your soil. I will never have anything else.

does the blade stay sharp?

Yes. It pretty much self sharpens. The tempered steel is thin and hard. Amazingly, a few people have worn their blade out.

@@herrickkimball got my hoe version out and tried it on the driveway and it worked Amazingly. No more Roundup spraying.

Too bad I can't buy one of these anymore. The others are rickety junk.
