Wait wait wait wait, I thought Borle says during March of the Falsettos “It’s so hard to sing up!” As a meta joke for how badly all of them except Jason are murdering their vocal cords because they’re really not used to having that high of a range. March of the falsettos (Mickey mouse song) is how Trina is seeing things. It's an exaggerated number with everyone (besides Jason) singing in a falsetto voice to show their immaturity. Since Jason is the only one that isn't singing in falsetto voice, it implies he's the only mature one of the bunch in Trina's life. The falsetto is used to mimic a child's voice, since Trina calls them out on being childish in the song prior.
