Speaking of the draft and free agency; there are a couple of good left tackles in free agency, sign at least one of them, the same with the D-line. Don't sign Higgins as wr, sign Elijah Moore, a speedster and draft Tet McMillan, he can develop here as our Mike Evans and we would have more money to spend in other positions...

In a "hahtbeat"! I go back and forth about him being available though as it will take a couple of mediocre QBs to get picked before he and Hunter. It's possible, not probable, that a couple of teams are THAT QB hungry and they will be willing to pay that price, but I kinda doubt it.

Based on everything you are saying the Pats should draft WR Tetteroa McMillian because the cost of a top WR is so high. You could have a top WR, QB and CB on rookie deals. Spend on O-Line

10000%. Tet McMillian is the no brainer pick. You sign OT’s and a guard in free agency you then draft some in the middle rounds to develop behind the veterans and you draft Tet McMillian at #4 to be a young WR on the same timeline as Drake Maye who can grow together

Maxx Crosby & #6 might be something I'd be interested. Considering TB12's relationship with Shadeur, if he's still there at 4, I could see the raiders making aggressive push to get up there and take him. Also, wouldn't be stunned if the niners made a move to get up there and take a QB. I don't think they're gonna pay Purdy, and they've made that kind of move before.

@603me.
@603me. 9 күн бұрын
The Bill's record without Brady things required context. Bill took over a Cleveland team that was 3-13. He had a combination of a washed Bernie Kosar, Mike Tomczak and Vinny Testaverde at QB. Despite this, he doubled their win total in year 1, and improved to 11-5 (with Testaverde throwing more interceptions than touchdowns) and beating Parcells in the playoffs. A large chunk of his record without Brady involved taking over that bad team and building them up. Same thing in 2000. He took over a team that was $10.5m over the cap ($43m today) with just 41 players signed. He had to gut that team and build it back up. He went 11-5 with a QB who hadn't played since high school. 3-1 with a combination of Jimmy and a rookie Brissett. And 10-7 and playoffs with rookie Mac. The real story is more nuanced than "uNdER .500 wItHOuT bRAdY."
@zeppelinmexicano
@zeppelinmexicano 8 күн бұрын
I think your descriptor of the coaching process being "nuanced" is exactly the problem with lame brains that can't get past the W/L record without looking at the details. The other problem in Cleveland was Modell and moving the team, which must have caused holy hell in the locker room and staff. You don't want to be the HC when the team is disintegrating due to ownership meddling. Bill had a great staff there with Saban, et al., and anybody that thinks they failed because of a losing record during the chaos years simply are not interested in nuance.

I keep hearing about trading the 4th overall pick for this player or that player. And a lot of them aren’t even elite. The Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams trades were equivalent to the 11th - 12th overall pick when you add them up. Both of those players were elite and in their prime. So why are we talking about giving up the 4th overall pick (which has double the value) for the likes of Garrett Wilson or DK Metcalf ? etc Just because you have a need, doesn’t mean you go all in on very good players and pay double for it. That’s how you stay one of the worst teams in the League!

For once I completely disagree with my man Phil. No way I'm giving up the 4th overall for an older player who's going to cost a fortune. With the 4th round pick you control that drafted player for 5 years and on short money. There is also potential to spin that 4th overall to more than that one pick.

it ain't the weather let me tell you that. The problem with Boston is it's totally unaware just how bad your reputation really is. you don't even have a clue when certain races say they don't want to play with you. when i use to live in boston people would say, "we're no more racist than anyone else." i sympathize i really do. when i realized the real reason why i couldn't get my hands on the really elite players had nothing to do with football i was really confused. i kept asking , "what else is there that a player could possibly want than money?"perhaps the comfort to be among people that make him feel like he belongs. regular southern hospitality... well that something boston just don't posses. where i moved to the entire city is one region including the suburbs. there is no Italian section and Chinese section an black section if that makes sense. There is no excuse here to act like that area is being neglected, we're all pulling the same way. most people i talk to really love this city. ive never met a person who didn't.... And if i ever do meet such a person who hates this city i will listen to what they have to say. Massachusetts has made strides but it remains mostly unchanged. "tradition" is what they covet most there and that's a loser argument if you're trying to convince an alpha football player from out of town with breakaway speed. For him he's got plenty of places to choose from and Boston doesn't have the wide open appeal to compete with the likes of New York, LA and Miami. Boston is a smaller market and its very much small=town like where everyone is in your business. if anything they might be your neighbors (why move there if you know they don't like your race?) This is why the JETS may be considered "losers" but they are practically where the NFL coastline ends. nothing beyond New York even exists. You are the Bermuda triangle. Know this, after realizing this it became clear that we weren't getting lucky with players. if a minority is highly suspicious of Massachusetts rep if he has a choice he's not choosing mass. He won't care if you have 20 banners. The celtics have almost 19 banners and the worst history of fans with foul mouths come from there, not to mention you have the greatest NBA player in history and nobody will dare say his name despite the unanimous respect he gets nationwide And whenever boston is on the new. no matter the occasion. it's always a story about race, open Boston.com for the rest of the story and beneath it in the comments section you have a lot of locals saying stuff they shouldn't saying and should perhaps keep their mouths shut and not advertise like that. See, The reason everyone is "faster" than we are. is because many players who end up with patriots were there because they couldn't go anywhere else. So now you know.

Nah don't need to add the 3rd in my opinion. Swapping and deebo maybe even another pick from them then maybe.
