Hundreds of thousands of anti-government protesters have been clashing with police and rebelling against the Chinese system in #HongKong every week since June 9th. To get an idea of who these people are, and what they're fighting for, we spent time with them on the frontlines of the protests.

I've seen those blue dye water cannons show up in videos from the WSJ. Their footage was captured from across the street through a telephoto lens. As the protesters were being doused, I thought to myself "the popular front lads would be IN that crowd". I was right.
