Not quite. While you can play CTR Challenges, Relic Races and Bonus Rounds in Arcade Mode now, which includes the CNK tracks, it doesn't look like they're implementing CNK's Adventure Mode campaign.

tfw you're like "uh, who doesn't know these characters?" but then remember that CNK was almost 16 years ago so there's a big generation gap of young gamers never having grown up with it or the other 90s-00s Crash games That being said, I'm happy this channel exists to provide context to these characters younger generations might not be familiar with. It's silly to harp on kids who aren't aware of these things from our time, and just because it's new and different from ours doesn't inherently make it any better or worse. That rumor on the sharks needing to move actually is true for a few species of shark. Such as the great white shark. Mainly due to the fact that when they move the hydrogen in them is pushed out of their gills like water from a filter.

It actually depends on the species of shark that has to keep moving. It’s mostly open ocean sharks that breathe through ram ventilation, by keeping their mouths open and have the water pass through their gills. This is for sharks like Great Whites, Whales, And Makos. Other sharks have spiracles, and breathe by actively pumping water over their gills with their cheeks

Y'know who I think should be playable? Willie Wumpa Cheeks. Despite being an NPC in Tag Team Racing, he is the main villain of that game's Story Mode and thus has as much prominence as Pasadena and Von Clutch do. I can imagine Willie at least making a cameo due to Chick and Stew, two other Tag Team Racing NPCs, appearing in Slide Coliseum.

Nina, Pasadena and Von Clutch are the only new playable characters in CTTR, so I can see them being added. Willie, not sure. A cameo at the very least. It's already mind-blowing that CTTR karts (some which are PSP-exclusive and one that was an unused kart, which shows Beenox is putting in as much as they possibly can) and Chick 'n Stew are in the game.

The Norm Race he gameboy advance version of CNK was incredibly easy. Yes, you did have to race both of them, but the game counted them both as the same entity, so if you were ahead of one of them, the game thought you were in first place, even if the other one was ahead of you.

Technically, that can happen in the ps2 version too where you only have to beat Small Norm. Even though Small Norm is usually in front of Big Norm, if you hit small Norm off the track for example, Big Norm can overtake him. If that happens and you end up finishing behind Big Norm, it will still count as a victory.

To be frank, I didn’t care much about the bosses in CNK (but not as much as every character in CTTR). I find their designs, though not bad, to be rather bland. They’re supposed to be aliens and yet they look too much like Earthly life forms. Oxide looks more alien than anyone. But anyways, I really hope Tawna makes it in the game and have the Trophy Girls as her skins, since they’re the same figure and all.
