And since he's a neutral based character, he punishes for those who are playing the neutral wrong and if you don't edge guard him. He's bad, but I believe he is scarier than many of the characters that they mentioned.

If Mac had good recovery that character would be a beast, 1f jab, armor moves and crazy one-hit kills. They put some garbage characters in here as well for the same reason, like Luigi. Not scared to lose, just scared to lose a stock for no effort.

Sephiroth range and how he takes you're jump so easily is just too good, and then he just octoslashes you at 20 and you lose a set. You literally can't get in on sephiroth and when you do he grabs you and takes your jump and now you're halfway off the screen with no jump. Sephiroth absolutely destroys any character belo high tier

I play Hero, If you want to beat me all you have to be able to do is apply pressure without being super committal. My Fair and Bair come out slow so I usually lose in the air. If you get hard read and die to a critical smash attack its because you were rushing in. Probably the scariest thing I have are my edge guards with kaboom, thwack and magic burst.

Snake is probably in my top 10 scariest, if he ever gets momentum in his favor it becomes so hard and frustrating to win it back, particularly if you are playing someone with a bad recovery. Even bad snakes can get edge guards with nikita.

I disagree about the bad players with Nikita part. I hardly get hit by Nikita vs Snakes even though I play Terry and Ryu/Ken And I'm sure competent players won't get hit by "bad" Snakes edge guards as much. But I do think if the Snake player is really smart, adapts well and gains momentum, it's hard to gain it back. You can download a Snake, but if he downloads you back, it's over, he has a lot of options to turn a match around.

I'm genuinely not scared of Bayonetta at all, always felt like I know what I'm doing and picked up on good SDI really quick. I took sets off Bayonetta at PR level with smash 4 Yoshi, no problem I am genuinely terrified of Min Min in this game though way more than I'd be of bayo, which honestly I'll still sweat for because of damage but they always struggle with killing so I catch up there. Min Min can just pop out a few surprises, and if they do something like read my jump or get a correct guess with a safe on shield tilt at low percent I will just explode at 30. If she gets a stock lead, I have to counterplay that and come back when she can continue to safely pelt me from half stage. I slept on min min at release, I understand what makes her broken now though and it's painful

I always start sweating when my buddy brings out Sephiroth. He can just neutral b camp for days and it’s so hard to do anything to it. But if that doesn’t work there’s also longest sword in the game, one winged angel, down b, etc. etc. I hate fighting Sephiroth
