Rister you’re aware people wont get mad from you saying samsora or nairo right? It’s really awkward to go from saying “Armada and ESAM” to just “peach”. Samsora was a top 5 player you can’t erase that even if he was cancelled. It’s part of smash history. It’s really awkward to show footage of nairo and samsora and skate around their names as if their faces and tags aren’t right there.

Some fun facts about some characters of MKLeo : - On Ultimate Summit , he pulled the Greninja against Mang0 on Game 2 and Game 3. The main reason is because nobody was there to practice with Mang0 but MKLeo was pretty homie and grind with Mang0 for 4-6 hours straight. It was mainly against his Lucina , and Mang0 on game 1 was last stock against MKLeo so Leo switch to a character that Mang0 did not practice against lol. Also Mang0´s Wario MU help MKLeo to beat Gluttony with Lucina lol . (GOAT recognize GOAT) - Genesis 9 was the first tournament his Joker won , this is because Genesis 6 was with Ike and Lucina , Genesis 8 was with his Byleth , and Genesis 7 he lost at Grands against Marss. Also on that tournament (Genesis 9), the ROB bailed MKLeo out against Min Min and help him clutch out the set 3-2 - There was a local tournament MKLeo went after EVO and Smash Con where he pulled out the Chrom and went solo Chrom , and won it lmao

it is necessary to say that Lucina and Marth appeared in LMMM 2023 where both lost against Kurama, being this the last appearance of Marth, and with Corrin something similar happened since in GOML 2023 Leo tried to use her against Sonix but after losing game 1 he changed to Aegis, this being the last time he used Corrin

Small note: Leo did actually beat Sonix with Samus. In Flat Realm 6, an online tournament, he beat Sonix in game 5 of grands then 3-0 in the reset, timing him out to finish it.

A shame Leo doesn't enjoy playing Corrin. She's so good in this meta and she actually got Leo some big wins. Oh well to that one. Marth is a character he actually enjoys but despite playing really well against top players (and taking set wins with him) Leo doesn't want to push Marth because "he bad"... which sucks because Leo was actually getting the results with the Marth/Joker duo. (Then he got bodied by Kurama even WITH Lucina so I doubt he will ever touch Marcina again). Cloud was just a phase I assume. Meta Knight is... sort of back? But I doubt it'll last long. Roy and ROB are anomalies LOL. Aegis got nothing but hate, but I will admit she got Leo some decent wins. If he really wants to make her work I know he can, despite people hating her.

Great Video. Really enjoyed the recap. Honestly though. Genghis Kahn did some hideous things, but we don't shy away from acknowledging his accomplishments. Pretty sure Nairo and Samsora weren't THAT evil. Seems a bit weird to attempt to just... erase them from smash history, no? Like, ban them if we want to, but a win on a player that skilled is still impressive. It shouldn't be just shoved under the rug, imo.

Leo actually did use Wario at 2GG Kickoff: Kongo Saga. In Winners Semis, Leo and Gluto swapped mains for Game 1 and then afterwards they went back to their mains, and they did not do this in Grand Finals either. Gluto played Purple Joker and Leo played Red Plumber Wario

If Leo actually wants to be the best again he would go Joker and Corrin Corrin covers all his bad match ups save for Min Min which honestly Joker does fine against. He just needs to learn the match up. Corrin is the last time he beat Sonix and Gluto. He destroyed Sparg0 with Corrin as well. If he seriously hates playing Corrin then might as well bring back Byleth and Lucina to be the back ups to Joker. Btw Leo just used Byleth in Taiwan pre local this week. Be interesting to see if he continues tonight as the Taiwan tournament starts 10pm eastern.

My favorite (non-joker) character from leo is his Byleth but sadly it doesnt have a place nowadays. It worked back then because leo was miles ahead of everyone else. Nowadays his Joker is special but every secondary is kind of lacking. The characters / players he still needs to find an answer to are gluto, tweek ,sonix, kazuya, pikachu and min-min otherwise it might be hard to break into the top 5 again
