Hello and God bless you! I keep praying that more and more Pastors and churches will dive into serious study of the Prophecies of God, especially the Book of Revelation which we are to receive BLESSINGS for reading and hearing! I like to listen to it in audiobook format and also read it 😊 The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 are Biblical and the Holy Bible when studied carefully and rightly divided, using the instructions we are given in Isaiah 28:9-10 which is how we come to understand doctrine we can know what is unsealed in the Holy Bible to know. You must be a Holy Spirit filled believer in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and through proper study and the Holy Spirit's guidance we can come to understand Holy Wisdom from above. It is of no secret interpretation, and without either (Holy Spirit or the Word & Truth) one will not have eyes to see or ears to hear what is freely revealed to those who love and follow Jesus Christ. God grant all people eyes to see and ears to hear God's truth-away from the lies and confusion of the world and the enemy in Jesus name amen. God bless you all :)

Gram.....take it from another old great gram.. We doo have to be careful not to drive them away because all we ever talk about is Jesus. Something "I" found out after my Baptist Sunday School teacher all her life, Grama had been threatened by my Catholic mother: 😡 if you dont stop talking to MY children about YOUR Jesus, I'm going to see to it that u never see ur grandchildren again😠." Gram never told me about getting saved,repenting,nothing .......and I was a very devout Catholic girl who wanted to become a nun. All she did was pray for us and ask God to get us in the right place at the right time. When she was in her 80s and in hospital w severe heart trouble, my FATHER, her son, re- dedicated his life to the LORD and I, the 1st grandchild, I got saved on that same day. My Daddy was at his mother's bedside in the hospital when I called her to tell her that I had just gotten saved🙌🏻💔💝👑....now, dear sister, THAT'S the LORD!. She moved to heaven the next day,but It was so sweet of the LORD to let her see her deepest prayers coming to fruition BEFORE she passed....Trust God w ur dear ones and just love them all the time, and let God do His work The Holy Spirit knows exactly how to talk to them. ❤❤❤❤

The Bible, especially Revelation, uses a writing style that's common in Semitic language. It often introduces ideas in one chapter and expands on them in the next. This happens with the two witnesses in Revelation 11 and expands in 12. In Rev chapter 12:16, we see this interesting bit: "The serpent tried to sweep away the woman with a flood from its mouth. But the earth helped her by swallowing the flood." Then it talks about the dragon going after "the rest of her offspring." So, who are these offspring? Is it Jews only or, is it the Church also? The next verse gives us a clue: Rev 12:17 Then the dragon (Islam) became furious with the woman (in bible Israel is Woman) and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God (Jews) and those who hold to the testimony of Jesus (Church). The language of Revelation 12, the persecution of Israel, and really even bigger than Israel-the people of God who follow Jesus (and they’re also linked to this 1260-day stuff and the “time, times, and half a time”) So, in short, it seems the "The Witnesses" here means all believers in Jesus, and ethnic Jews.

Jerusalem is protected during Satan's wrath, which is the second half of the Great Tribulation. The antichrist doesn't overtake the 2 Witnesses or Jerusalem right up until the day of Armageddon. Satin can't get to the woman that gave birth to the lamb so he makes war against the saints ..to those who hold to the testimony of Jesus and the commandments..Jesus warns us of this ..but the 2 Witnesses will be a big part as to why the antichrist can't overtake Jerusalem...those who are in Judea must flee after the abomination of desolation declares to be God but those in Jerusalem are protected for times, time and a half of times

I love and appreciate all scriptures! ...as an American I always wondered why do church leaders have passion behind the pulpits they speak against other nations, especially those in the middle east, they have passion, then when reality hits like maybe they can write to the government and tell the government to distribute holy bibles to all public schools and all teachers and news and tv stations to prepare all people to prepare all nations to serve God to do the works for the kingdom of God! They speak boldy behind the pulpit then become lukewarm and hide behind " seperation of church and state " when the times of fulfillment of prophecy will your church claim " seperation of church and state" when the day arrives for funerals do they claim seperation of church and state? How many leaders of the church want tithes for their comforts and would not pay for funeral or weddings? How many church leaders need money to pray for healing?....when the book of revelation is spoken of or interpret , I know 100% God knows the truth! I honestly know its such a deep book that is truth! But I also know today's generation the usa could play a major role! So shouldn't we prepare! ? Should we teach all usa people to worship God! To obey commandments! To practice gender roles! To stop being so premiscous and return to God! Shouldnt we tell our leader we expect and demand they open the bible and govern according to holy bible scripture! We should unte church and state to be prepared!

I love this teaching, and I am learning through the whole series. I have a sticking point with one thing...I believe the truth is being taught here, but if the Temple will be built during the Tribulation...where will the 2 witnesses be preaching during the time it takes for the Anti-Christ to convince it to be rebuilt and during the building process? Will they be preaching on the Temple Mount before and during the construction? I am also confused about the Anti-Christ as to what day he proclaims to be God in the Temple. If it is after the 2 witnesses he kills are resurrected, doesn't that change the 2nd half of the Tribulation to 3 1/2 years + 3 1/2 days? I am trying so hard to understand everything, but I am very confused...

It's quite natural to be confused because the bible is such a complex book. But in time, you will become more solid in your theology as you continue to ask questions about various bible teachings. I still don't have all the chronological answers about end times but I lean towards a post trib view. One word of advice, don't MAKE the bible fit your interpretation, make your interpretation FIT the bible. Peace to you. X

I have heard by some others the Jews are asking for help/funds to build the Temple. If so where does that place us in time? I believe he has a much better explanation than I know. Good teaching, the scriptures are very clear that Moses can’t be the other witness because it is once appointed to man to die, so Moses can’t die twice unless he was resurrected and caught up to heaven, but the scripture is clear that Moses, died and was buried, because God, sent a Angel to bury him and no one knows we’re God buried him, So, the only other person it can be is Enoch, because he was translated that he should not see death, as well as Elijah didn’t die as well, So a very clear study of the scriptures could only reveal that only Enoch could fit the scriptures because they’re the only prophets in scriptures that have not died.

The 2 Witnesses are 2 groups of churches. In the beginning of revelation it says that the 7 churches are the 7 Lampstands. The 2 witnesses are also called the lampstands. These groups of witnesses will proclam Jesus christ is lord and his returning. And they will tell everybody to repent. Also God doesn't take his people from the earth unto the last trumpet is sounded. 1 Corinthians 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

The Old Testament absolutely says Elijah is coming back. Malachi, chapter 4:5-6 does not say “in the spirit of”. 5 “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.” Its true, there’s a chance that he isn’t one of the 2 witness’ but it does prove that God has preserved Elijah to come back in the end times to help Israel’s eyes to be opened and repent for denying Yeshua. ❤

At 22:44 , as i was listening to this and picturing all this in my mind...i couldnt help but think that with ACTUAL FIRE protruding from the human mouth of these two witinesses, WHICH IS SOMETHING YOU DON'T REALLY SEE EVERYDAY and would easily convince me i thimk if i were a Jewish preist...just why is it that just by this happening that these guys dont just say to themselves 'the Christians Bible mentions these things would happen so maybe we should listen to these two old guys'...surely for something like THIS SITUATION to not strike them as odd and not cause them to instantly start believing, they must be being blinded as to the truth? What if the Abomination of Desolation is already in Jerusalem? It has been explained by almost all Theologians that when other gods are in Jerusalem, it is an abomination that causes desolation. What if it’s already there? Al-Aqsa Mosque is a mosque for the Muslim god, right? Some Christian theologians are saying that this Muslim god is not the same as the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and is not Jesus’ Father. Is that mosque then the abomination that causes desolation?

Clearly not the same God. Allah is satan thats why allah in arabic is written like a serpent. Satan is the ancient serpent who was in the garden of eden. Mohammed got revelation from Satan in a cave. Muslims are deceived. Satan is the deceiver, one of allahs names is the greatest of deceiving/ the deceiver.

@@musick60 Not exactly. The Old Testament’s definition of the Abomination that causes Desolation are objects ie Ashera Poles, Idols, etc. They were not human. Please give us a New Testament scripture and then explain why it is supposed to be a human being. I just can’t take your word for it. Please use Scripture aka the Bible to explain your hermeneutics

It is true to exegetically take Scripture literally unless the text demand otherwise. This study offers many good teaching points, however to be dogmatic about everything is to be avoided. The two witnesses may be literal or they may not; there is an argument for both. Presenting it this way, while stating your belief is fine, but to dogmatically state its meaning when the text itself does not present it is to be avoided. For example, if one looks at verses 4 and 5, they are specially described as, "two olive trees and the two lamp stands that stand before the Lord of the earth." Taken in context, the witnesses could be interpreted as figurative; one must acknowledge the possibility. The point for all of us who seek to know the truth is to avoid being dogmatic with every verse of scripture. There are definitely non-non-negotiatables (one must know Jesus in order to be saved; all who are his are secure, etc...). Lastly, keep in mind the genre of the book being read. Revelation is prophetic: there are things in it to be taken literally, but not everything, as Pastor Allen pointed out. Even with proper exegesis, one must keep in mind sound hermeneutics, which influence exegesis.

@@scott596 Many think the two witnesses are Enoch & Elijah because both are prophets and did not die. Others think Moses & Elijah are the two witnesses because they both were/are prophets and the miracles done through the two witnesses are those done through Moses & Elijah. I see no record of Enoch concerning miracles in Genesis or the Book of Enoch or Book of Jubilees.

@unworthy WARNER Consider Moses' cave in Midian, on Mount Sanai at the peak Horeb and how Moses was up there for Forty days. Also consider how Elijah traveled Forty days after an Angel breakfast to Elijah's cave on Mount Sanai peak Horeb. And Consider how Moses was actually in the land of Israel with Elijah Peter & Yeshua at the Mount of Transfiguration. Yehovah did allow Moses in the Land after all. So therefore what could prevent Moses from being one of the witnesses? Each witness would represent the Law & the Prophets'.

I believe the two witnesses are Enoch and Elijah, if one was Moses, then Moses would have died twice. Enoch and Elijah are the only two in Heaven who have not died. But that is how I see it, my opinion respectively.

After his death Satan went to the second heaven I belive or it may have been the third wanting Moses because he committed a sin by killing a man he wasn't reviled till after Jesus's death if I'm not mistaken. But it is written in the Bible where Satan wanted Moses and went to God for him

I've read alot of the bible but I also read the dead sea scrolls and apocrypha and in the 2nd revelation of st. John it says the 2 witnesses are Enoch and Elijah the only 2 men that haven't died but they still have to wen the antichrist kills them, Enoch lays in wait in heaven as metetron and Elijah in wait in heaven as sandelphon the 2 most powerful angels in heaven

You certainly did not get that from the Bible but from other readings because in the Bible no such names like sandelphon exist! But have you read about the olive trees? They receive their oil directly from the Lord. Enoch, apart from hearing about his being taken at 365, has not had much anointing to help in the salvation story of humanity, which is Jesus Christ's anointing. These 2 men receive their own anointing directly from the Lord - there can be no doubt that this is the Law ( Moses) and Elijah ( the prophets) these are the two moves through which the Lord has saved this world. And they are the two tools God used on old testament people to bring them to Himself before Christ Himself could appear and replace them with a direct message of the kingdom instead. The two branches also worked very effectively for people in the Old Testament, as far as turning them into sons. David is one of those who benefited from them - he became a son, and he was told ' today you have become my son' by God. He says it in one of his prophecies. We also know that there were sons of the prophets when we are told of them trying to build a larger place for themselves because the place they were was too strait! These are people who had gone into the kingdom and become sons. The phenomenon of ' sons' does not start only with Christ's coming , it was always there in the Old Testament - only hidden. Ezekiel was constantly referred to as ' Son of man.' Gehazi for example is never called a son, but a servant, so was Elisha before the departure of Elijah, I believe that status changes after He cries ' Father, Father.' Because for him to become a prophet, he is constantly in the presence of God, and God is able to use His mouth anytime. This constancy in the Lord is achieved by sons. Servants come and go, but sons abide always. So the fact that we have sons in the old testament is testimony to the fact that those two branches - the law( Moses) and the prophets ( Elijah) were effective representatives of Christ for the nation of a Israel. And when they return in the end, it will be to the same people they will have come to testify and complete their work of salvation of Israel.

Not trying to wake you up as it's up to Holy Ghost. The Daily (sacrifice) Is bearing the cross daily. And the war that began: is what will take away the daily living for the Praise of God and put people in fear admiration of the beast. Have you heard of the black September coming up? That was prophetic but no need to be prophetic to spell Famine, Economic collapse, though missing another ingredient involving prophetic. The war becoming worldwide along with protests and civil war (what is beginning), China also invading, while civil war erups, as this is what they are waiting for, like during the cultural revolution in China: when both sides of the Revolution were fed up with fighting dictatorship was established over Kaos. This time worldwide, the beast of Revelation will make war against the church. The time for us to make a difference is very short.

@Matt sorry, but you are wrong. The challenge with Revelation is knowing when it's symbolic or literal. Two people literally lay on the street of a city (presumably Jerusalem) for three days and half. The scripture explicitly states that the world will not allow their dead BODY to be put in a tomb. And the whole world SEE their dead bodies when they rise to ascend to heaven. The fire out of their mouth may be symbolic of the words which come out of their mouth, but not the whole chapter.

I didn't say all of Revelation are literal, instead, I said the major challenge with most people is knowing where to draw the line between literal and allegorical. Waters might symbolize people, and stars could refer to angels, but Again I say, NOT all in Revelation is in symbols. To answer your question. Where does it say two men? First, I should point out that, I do not hold onto the view of the return of a literal Moses and Elijah, but yeah, two individuals return in the spirit of the past prophets. Now, where does it say two humans? Except you can prove otherwise, in the scriptures, Everytime, prophets or witnesses are used, the terms often refer to definite individuals. "Many witnesses" means "many witnesses". One witness means one literal witness. Two WITNESSES means "two literal human beings". Quote a scripture which states otherwise. Also, they are referred to as the two anointed ones; a term always used for literal human beings. Revelation cannot be making reference to Christ's ministry. It just doesn't make any sense to think so. There are reasons why the two witnesses have a ministry very similar to that of Moses, Elijah, and Christ, and my current location wouldn't permit me to elaborate on that now. Idk if I covered everything you'd want me to, but I'll return.

@Matt brother Matt, I think you'd be rid of a lot of deception if you read the scripture in the original language (Greek for the second testament). I have only read the first paragraph, so that's the only thing I'm replying to at this time. I believe you quoted Matthew 24. The Greek word used is 'marturion' which means evidence or testimony. It could also be translated as witness. It is the same word used in Revelation 11:7. Its best interpretation would be 'testimony", which simply means EVIDENCE. However, in Revelation 11:3, the Greek word used is 'MARTUS', which means witness or witnesses. Now, every time MARTUS is used, it ALWAYS refers to persons. Show me one part of the scripture which shows otherwise! Do not let these versions mislead you. They attach whichever interpretation they deem fit. In the scripture quoted, Jesus Christ said, it would serve as a testimony (evidence).. not as in Martus, used for human witnesses. Get that first. Edit: So, I just read through now. The only thing I'd say to you is, go beyond NLT and NIV, and the KJV. And, how many times must I scream it that the entire Revelation isn't literal, huh? Do you read to understand at all, or you are just so much interested in needless debate? *The challenge is in knowing which one is literal and which is symbolic*

The Ark of the Covenant in the innermost sanctuary called the Holy of Holies within their temple. That symbolized God's presence (Spirit) in the centre underneath the sacrificial altar of the ark. The amazing thing is how illustrative it reall is.. When Jesus died in replacement as the Perfect sacrifical 'lamb of God', HE became the presented Christ of God i.e. the 'Holy Anointed One' literally, in the flesh, the embodiment of God's Spirit /essence.
