More Celtics mythology would be awesome! Love the fairy tail reference.

Hi, my name is Aaron, I came up to your video searching for information, I played Oberon in AMND in highschool, the teacher who helped us do that passed away not very long after that, to me she was very important and I always cheerish the moment of her giving me the role of Oberon without even auditioning like the rest had to, she said I was made for that role, I will always remember Oberon and strangely it feels like he is a part of me today 🧝🏻♀️.

Hi, Aaron. I'm glad I could make something to help you reminisce over such a powerful memory.

Yes! More fairy lore please. I'm actually looking for more information on some of the fey creatures that appear in the ancient Magus bride anime. If you haven't watch that , you should! I want to know if their depiction of the leannan sidhe is accurate.

The connection with both elves and dwarves (or "dwarrow" if you really want to go old school) makes sense, because dwarves were originally called "dark elves" in Norse Mythology.
@Wilveren2 жыл бұрын
Huh. Are you sure? I feel like Dwarves and Dark Elves have been shown as specifically different races in Norse Mythology. If that is accurate, cool.

Titania and Oberon are the names most commonly associated with the king and queen of the summer fae court but they have many other names that they go by their true names like most gods, spirits, and other mythological beings were either forgotten by humanity or hidden by said gods, spirits, etc... to prevent troubles regarding true names that is also why in many occult traditions practiceners go by a Magician's person or false name when dealing with beings beyond the physical great video by the way

Weird how Fairy Tail had a Titania, but never had an Oberon. I suppose Gildartz could be considered the "King of the Fairies", since he's the strongest member of the guild. Although, I *did* give my OC the title of "Oberon".
@Wilveren Жыл бұрын
You would think there would be both a Titania and an Oberon in the guild... kinda odd, it's a missed opportunity. But I approve of your OC regardless, cuz the name of Oberon needs more representation. =P

@@Wilveren that’d be dope! I’m also interested in the stories behind famous landmarks and things like different cultures’ legends about dragons and time frames. Thanks man, looking forward to more vids!

Shakespeare was clearly led by muse. The clues are all over his work. The name of a monarch changes over time. Like currently in England, the King has decided to keep the name Charles, rather than changing it to Elizabeth. The naming of the Faery Queene is complicated, but at this time it would be reasonable to consider that she is named Lacey.

I feel like you're referencing something that I don't get, and that makes me very curious. =P Sounds kinda like Terry Pratchett.

I personally think it's fine that a later writer named the king and Queen as we can never truly know what they were meant to be called.

Yeah, I mean I'm certainly not mad about it. I just find it ironic.
