I really like how when things happen to Castellanos more than once, his animations change as if he's learning and adapting. It happened when he was destroying the paintings as well; in the second painting, he predicted the shockwave, shielded himself, and wasn't knocked around as much. Nice touch.

Besides, my main point is most of the combat skill unlocks aren't nearly as applicable to combat with this boss as, say, Athleticism, since the best way to avoid him is to run at 90 degrees to him so his rushes miss you. Plus if he bumrushed his way to synaptic focus this early on he wouldn't have his spookin' skills and a lot of other situations would have been much harder.

I absolutely love Stefano's design, purpose and story in this game. For one, his aesthetic and personality are really fun and disturbing to witness and there's so much incentive to want to stop him because really, he's fucked up. However, I also love how he views himself as the protagonist, because he ends up not even being the main antagonist; He's a thorn in Sebastian's side but in the end he's only a pawn, which is the opposite of what Stefano wants for himself.

So I ended up getting impatient and watching a different KZbinr play the game and although the games story ended pretty decent I noticed that I didnt love game because of its story or mechanics. I loved it because of the way Mark presented and played it, I enjoy watching him deliver his fancy soup and way of playing the game that makes watching it feel like I personally have some kind of role and the fact that he also helps by giving his own theories and shows that he is also very interested in the game. PLEASE FOR GODSAKES IF YOUR READING THIS and this is your first time watching Evil Within 2 do yourself a favor and don't get impatient like me, you will regret it because unlike the other youtuber's who have played this. Mark has displayed this game beautifully.

I think this game would have been so much cooler AND made more sense if Sebastian had to figure out how to pit Stefano against Theodore in a way he could clean them both up at the end. Then we'd get Stefano for the whole game, too. Instead he takes out what are basically gods, using only guns, by himself.

Am I the only one that doesn't have a problem with the way Mark plays? I see a lot of comments by people, calling him lazy and stupid, saying that he is purposely doing everything incorrectly, that he talks too much, etc, while laughing at his own jokes. And I just don't get it. Because one, in all the history of game play, there is not a *SINGLE* person that has played a video game 100% correct during their first time. When you first play a game, you make all sorts of mistakes, some of them more obvious than others. But mistakes, all the same. If anyone ever claims to have never made any mistakes and played a game perfectly and done the correct thing each and every time, then that person is a liar who, at best, Googled every single game play for their game, instead of just learning how to play. Two, I don't see his gaming technique as lazy. Yes, he's chosen to focus more on stealth killing than anything else. But there's nothing wrong with that. Every gamer has their own way of doing things. Yeah, he could have easily taken the Nurses advice and upped his combat skills. But he chose not too. And the stealth kills work for Mark. Just because his technique isn't one that you would have chosen for yourself doesn't make it necessarily wrong. Three: What's wrong with cracking jokes, however cheesy they may seem to some? I would be bored as hell if I watched a KZbinr who was serious and straight faced the entire time. I like Mark's silly jokes. And why shouldn't he talk? Who the hell wants to watch a KZbinr that stays quiet the entire time? ESPECIALLY during a live stream. That's boring as well. Mark was in his element when it came to sneaking, spooky chairs, and homemade soup recipes. But when it came to guns blazing open combat, I had a lot of instant soup and store-bought kits up my sleeve, I just wished I could have been there side-by-side to deliver the "just add water" recipes straight to the customers' doors with Soup Sebastian himself. Castellanos the Culinary shouldn't have to fight this war by himself.

It's really obvious that Ruvik isn't gone. He likely instigated all of the events of EW2 for some reason and is also responsible for STEM rebooting in the ending. He's why fire is still a recurring motif, and he'll be back in EW3.

Hey mark, maybe you probably should take the nurse advice, I mean you can't deliver soup to a boss so it probably a good idea to improve your damage to kill the boss a lot faster, and take less ammo. More damage = less ammo use

Hey mark, I'm pretty sure that one thing in the combat tree that lets you kick "stunned" enemies is like that thing in resident evil where you can headshot zombies to stun them and kick them while they're stunned to save ammo. It'll probably help you a lot. I usually can't catch these when they're live, so I hope you see this.

I strangely adored Stefano's work. There was a morbid sort of elegance to his masterpieces that was just so incredibly appealing. Granted, it was disgusting what he did to people, but his works were truly beautiful in an unorthodox way.
