JoJo did so well! It was very traditional, which is always nice. He seemed quite aware of budgeting, and did a superb shop. He’s learnt well! These are skills some grown adults don’t have, so I’m quite impressed. On the other hand, Bob picked up some really nice foods which looked exciting to try. Hope you enjoy all the yumminess! Just thought I’d add that today, I felt the Christmas spirit. Just an ordinary day, but people were so kind, patient, and jolly (something one rarely sees in my neck of the woods). I even went to pick up mustard on my way home, and they didn’t have any bottles for sale at the corner shop, so the clerk just squeezed some from the bottle they use for sandwiches into a cup, and gave it to me for free; “So you don’t have to walk,” he said with a smile.

I'm seeing this six months after the fact but so far I think it was my favorite video. Jojo, I am so proud of you and your choices! I loved your thought process and was just amazed and how easy you made it seem to put on such a great Christmas Dinner and on a reasonable budget at that. So Bob, while it is fun to let loose and party a little over the holidays you definitely have to be proud of your boy. Great hauls, so different. I don't shop at Sainsburys always thought they were expensive. Best gluten free mince pies are from the Coop. I treated myself to the £10 honeycomb bomb but didn't like it what a waste. JoJo obviously thought about the dinner but still had snacks, whereas Bob was just having a party lol xx

Carrot & swede mash reminds me of my late Gran. She made it every Sunday that we went to hers for Sunday dinner. Her casseroles were amazing & always acompanied by carrot & swede mash. That wins it for Jojo in my book. I was torn, but the carrot & swede mash plan won me over.

Another great video! Really helpful as me and my family use a Tesco and Sainsburys as “top up” shops so this helps!! I’ve found in my local stores that tesco have more in the freedom section but Sainsburys has a little more in the vegan fridge / freezer range but not by much at all, so I guess Tescos is the best for free forms / vegans. 💚 #freegang #livebutnotlive #freedomfamily #justkeeprising

Love you Bob, but being a Sainsburys boss, I'm JoJo all the way 😂 All of the in aisle treats etc are there due to them being high in sugar. It used to be that all the sweet treats etc would be stacked right down the middle of the store off the aisles themselves. However Government Legislation no longer allows supermarkets to promote these things in an "in your face" manner anymore to aid in the obesity crisis. And funny how JoJo planned my favourite bowl and spoon treat, carrot and swede mash! LOVE you guys ❤ Keep Rising 💚

2 cups of banana 3/4 cup of water 1 cup of oil 3 eggs 2 cups sugar 2 tea spoons of vanilla 3 cups flour 1 tea spoon salt 1tea spoon baking soda 1 tea spoon cinnamon 1/2cup of walnuts bake at 325 for one hour and you can use same dough for the banana or apple or zucchini squash it's my family's favorite Christmas breads and if you want you can add Carmel to the apple bread if you use the Carmel use aluminum foil type pans to because the Carmel sticks

Pringles and bournville aren't vegan any more. If you read the back they contain lactose, there was a huge uproar about it. (Apart from ready salted/original)

Hey Rosie, thanks for your comment 😊 Yes, we remember when they added lactose to the Bourneville chocolate bars - we were also disappointed. This hot chocolate though did not have it, so would have been an option 👍 The same with the Pringles that we got, they didn't contain lactose but we know some of their other flavours do.
