She held that last belted note for about 20 secs. Thats longer than basically almost any note held by any mainstream singer. Also her run was insane and nobody has rlly been able to hit it like her. This song proves shes the best vocalist of all time, idc who else u name, NOBODY could sing not even close to this, mariah could do almost anything she wanted with her voice. I recommend more mariah btw, some song recommendations are… -Emotions (studio version and she has a youtube video for this song) -Vision of love (live at oprah show 1992) -vanishing (live at SNL 1990)

The Vanishing rehearsal is more amazing than the actual show performance, though both are good! I recommend reacting to the rehearsal instead!

@@lindsaypeterson1934 no lol. Theres a reason i didnt recommended the rehearsal. The actual performance goes higher than the rehearsal, AND displays more agility in her riffs, ik u know that ONE riff im talking abt she does it quicker, with more notes, and even a falsetto transition in the middle of the insane riff in the actual performance which she doesnt do in the rehearsal, also the rehearsal is overplayed. Yall judt prefer it cuz that one me of “somebodys doing the wrong note”
