You know this brings up a curious point - Wario’s bike *runs over* lava with its wheels - Bowser Jr’s clown car *hovers over* lava and gets burned by it. Even when using its wheels for Wario bike logic it still gets burned by lava - Various characters who also hover when dashing still get burned by lava Wario’s bike is built different

Those two are identical in stats; a few animations differ, but not enough to make a difference here. Both could have made it with either the Parasol or Peach/Daisy Bomber. The clone that surprised me, though, was Toon Link, the only Link to succeed. Guess he's floatier than the other two.
