Exactly. That is the sort of "seeing the real question through the distraction" thing that he prides himself on. But Ally got it and he didn't. Sure, that turned out to not be the answer Sam wanted, but it was the right answer given the info they had, and in Brennan-land, that's what matters. @@torotteson i get it but like yes and no. like obvi, brennan aint always the best but in terms of these shows (ESP GAMECHANGERS) but its not really unsurprising why one would think that. these shows are partially meant for brennan when he appears. like gamechangers a semi trivia semi nerd activity game show is perfect for brennan the smart guy who does these things. however, the thing brennan is there for is to be the paragon to everybody else. Perfectly shows this one, look at Ally and Brennan in this situation. Ally is a zinger, they can pop something out quickly. this is what she's known for, somewhat mean spirited but zany interpretations of things that can add humor. Note as much as it became dropout, the origins of these people are College Humor. Game Changers is more of a Comedy Improv than a 'game show'. Brennan's just doing what his role is in most comedy scenes, the smart guy who plays off the other personalities on show

@@kyle1751by just slamming a gong without warming it up you get a sound very similar to just slamming a crash cymbal. That more warm tone of a gong comes from first “warming it up” which you do by lightly tapping it with the mallet to get it vibrating and THEN hitting it for the tone.

if you don't prep a gong by tapping the edges with the mallet then it could damage the gong. hope that explains it for you

They can develop hairline cracks, which cause unwanted frequencies in the gong. By tapping the gong and getting it vibrating before you hit it with the mallet, it makes the transition much smoother, like how you wouldn't put a cold glass pan directly in a hot oven
