Tbh, out of all of Spider-Man’s villains, who are KNOWN for their depth most of the time, Scorpion probably has the most wasted potential. His suit is iconic, you can always tell when he’s around. His power set is quite similar to Peter’s too, with super strength, agility, wall crawling, and of course, his poison stinger. On top of all that, his origin has a ton of potential, because if you didn’t know; Scorpion got his powers when J. Jonah Jameson on a warpath, hired Mac with a large sum of money to be a test subject for an experiment to create a rival for Spider-Man. But instead of being anyone interesting, perhaps a fellow employee at the Bugle, Mac Gargan is just a boring menacing criminal.

Bro we need the chameleon in live action. Just think of it, spider man meets the chameleon, and after seeing his power to change faces, he doesn’t know who he can trust anymore. He would eventually blackmail Wilson fisk which would make fisk give in to spidey’s threat and force him to find a way to take of the chameleon’s fake face disappear with some sort of scrambler device or jamming tech that blocks all projectors. I think it sounds cool.

I’d kinda like to see some villains from earlier Spiderman comics like the tinkerer and especially enforcers. The enforcers would be perfect for a street level Spiderman movie, although knowing Sony they’d struggle to make them as big a threat as previous villains so I’d only want to see them if they can make them an actual menacing threat

In the Devil’s Reign story there was a moment we’re Kingpin forced his mind to remember the identity of Daredevil after the Purpleman’s kids erased it from the world. I would love it if the next Spider-Man movie villain movie was Kingpin and for a post credit scene it shows Kingpin sitting in his cell frustrating at his defeat asking himself “who is he?” Over and over again and once he remembers Spider-man is Peter he asks a prison guard to bring him Mack Gargan.

People forget sometimes that with Mac Gargan and the Venom symbiote in the MCU, we could have a version of Venom that is a straight villain. Mac does become Venom in the comic's as well and is a cannibal as well.

As much as I love superpowered Spider-Man villains such as Green Goblin or Mister Negative, I actually love the underground type of villains way more. It's interesting to see an antagonist rely on only physical abilities and wits/outsmarting fighting Spider-Man than people who can cast illusions or have mechanical arms that can lift buildings. The Chameleon easily got my number 1 vote. He's surprisingly the only Spider-Man underground-type of antagonist that focuses more on mental & psychological antagonist, while being on par with Spider-Man in terms of physical capabilities. I remember the times when people find out that a goofy ahh villain like The Vulture was being adapted, they were dissapointed as he is just some strong old dude with wings in the comics, but when the movie actually came out, people immeadiately saw The Vulture as one of the most well-written villain in live-action Spider-Man media, as he is intimidating, not just some old dude with wings that lost his job but a broken man shaped by the unjust view of the world and actually uses cosmic technology. People need to be reminded that Chameleon isn't just some strong guy with guns who can cosplay and act well. #AdaptTheChameleontotheliveaction
