I'm a Hindu, I belong to SC category. Honestly speaking I've never faced any cast based discrimination in my life till today. But, I do agree that there are many people who face discrimination. And I've also seen many SC/Dalits people converts to Sikhism/Buddhism as they faced discrimination earlier. Recently I've seen many fb/twitter posts that those who converted are mocking at Hindus, making fun of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. This literally made me sad. Conversion is absolutely fine, no one should object that, as we all have our own choice to choose religion. But, making fun of other religion just because you got converted is absolutely not good. This is my request to all those Dalits who are reading my comment, please don't disrespect other religion. Yes, I definitely don't support any sort of discrimination, but this doesn't mean you should make fun of others sentiments. Please make fun of those who tries to discriminate you, troll them, you're strong enough to fight against them, doesn't matter whether they are Brahmins/Kshatriya or any other individuals. Remember, many other people are also there who doesn't discriminate you, but by making fun of their religion you're also targeting other people as well. ❤️

everything is true but one thing that non veg is taken by brahmins or any other people is not true . Ayurveda clearly says that satvic food which has high prana that is full of positive energy should be consumed for yogic and tantric practice ..A sudra that is the one who use to work physically they use to consume non veg for required energy . Depending on the food we take our mind and body changes so brahmins and many other varnas would not have non veg is because our thought process changes and the positive vibes will be lost since they cant concentrate during yogic and tantric process which includes japa ,tapa , yagna , puja etc for all these activities we need mind and body connection which enlightens our inner organs and chakras and stimulates our brain . So vegetarian life style is significant in our culture which is scientific more than religious .

No varna vyavasta is according to birth only . Sudra can become sadhu , but can't become brahman . Risi viswamitra was a khyatria risi but after a lot of contributions also he did not get the title of brahman. Because toget brahman birth the person tries to get God from his many previous births . And after brahman birth if he succed to become a good brahman he will achieve God. If he criticize other varna and become arrogant he will get demotion . And again get a lower varna birth . So give your best to your varna I which you took birth and met some knowledgeous brahman and ask about this they will give more details. It's varna system not caste system. Caste system is s foreign ideology and it's what's persisting today. Caste system makes caste hereditary and some evil people of the past and present embrace it. Whereas our holy scriptures mentions the Varna system in which one is given their Varna as per their qualities and any change in their qualities leads to their change in Varna and surely it's not hereditary. This is what Vedic scriptures teach us but people misinterpreted or misused our Varna system and turned it into such an evil system which persists till date. 😞

this guy is not clarifying that statement he made about Hinduism allows meat eating. this is totally wrong. Buddhism has many meat eaters and they started to twist the scriptures to justify it. same happened in Hinduism. especially the vedas. the vedas talks about doing animal sacrifice in a symbolic way not laterally. they talk about sacrificing the animosity within while doing yugya. it was never meant to kill animals. the same vedas also said not kill and harm animals. why would they do this? one section says sacrifice them and other section says its a sin. Shankaracharya explained this clearly. Buddhist also started to do this then Shankaracharya converted all them to Hinduism through debates. when buddha came majority of India was full of meat eaters and Bhagwan buddha didnt want violence so he taught a different peaceful way. then Buddhism got corrupt so Shankaracharya came. so great sage will always come to fix things up.

Birth-based Caste is a superstitious system, however Varna was the original system, in Varna there was no upper or lower, people chose the work of which they are qualified for and according to Bhagavad Gita, anyone can be a Brahman (Teacher), Shatriya (Warrior), Vaishya (Trader), Shudra (Labor) based on knowledge and skills: 🔹In Bhagavad Gita 4:13, Krishna says that he created different Varnas (Profession) on the basis of one's Karma (Activity) and Guna (Quality). 🔹Bhagavad Gita 5:18 "The truly learned, with the eyes of divine knowledge, see with equal vision a Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog, and a dog-eater" 🔹Bhagavad Gita 9:29 "I am equally disposed to all living entities: there is neither friend nor foe to Me: but those who with living sentiments render divotional service unto Me, such persons are in Me and I am in them." 🔹Bhagavad Gita 18:41 "The duties of the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras are distributed in accordance with their guṇas (quality) and not by birth. Caste is a Spanish and Portuguese word 'casta' which stands for 'Breed' or 'lineage'. During earlier times Caste use to be Varna (Profession) and based on merit and not by birth, I can give you instances from the ancient times, where a so-called modern day "lower caste" moved to "upper caste", e.g. Guru Valmiki, Kabir Das was from a shudra family but became a brahmin based on merit, etc and btw Ravana was himself a Brahmin knowledgeable person from Northern India but because of his notorious activities he got punished by Rama (believed to be an OBC if we abide by caste categorization). Lastly, you have to understand the British motive behind imposing caste: The Caucasians (Europeans) created Hutus and Tutsis in Rwanda, Africa, to divide and control the native population, and for this reason, the Rwanda Genocide occurred. The same attempts and inequalities Europeans also tried to create amongst Indians by separating Northern India and Southern India into "Aryans" VS "Dravidians" and further dividing Hinduism into 3,000 castes and 25,000 sub-castes. And also read about Herbert Hope Risley who created casteism, racism in Indian society by one's facial features and skin color, and Bishop Robert Caldwell who propagated the "Aryan Invasion" in Southern India to convert "Dravidians" into Christianity.

(Please Read This Comment Completely) Lord Rama is probably the most wronged and misunderstood character in the entire Hindu mythology. A lot of deeds attributed to him are absolutely incongruous with his overall character that displays magnanimity, kindness, courage, wisdom and love The primary reason for this misunderstanding of his character is the intrusion and inclusion of non-Valmiki content in the original Ramayana. Shambuka’s story was never a part of the original Valmiki work. It defies logic. To start with, as per the social system of his times, Valmiki himself was Shudra (a chandala, to be precise). He actually became a Brahmin and a Sage by reading and learning the Vedas. So, the claim that Shudras were not allowed to read Vedic scriptures is baseless. In fact, the Varnashram (not the caste system!) was very fluid in the social fabric of those days. Secondly, Valmiki himself was a great admirer of Lord Rama and that is why he composed the Ramayana in appreciation of his beloved hero Rama. It is quite illogical that he would have written the story of Shambuka, which clearly discredits his hero. Let me reiterate the two points. One, the society of those times allowed all people, irrespective of their varnas to read the Vedas and acquire knowledge. It even allowed them to change the varna*. Hence, there is no possibility that an incident like this might have occurred during Lord Rama’s times. Two, Valmiki being a great admirer of Lord Rama cannot create content that is so blatantly anti-Lord Rama. (Another example of this social fluidity is of Sage Vishwamitra, who was originally a Kshatriya but became a Brahmin!).Similarly, this incident (killing of Shambuka for reading the Vedas) is completely incompatible with Lord Rama’s overall character depicted in the original Ramayana. A son, who easily gives up the kingdom for his step-mother and also accepts exile without complaining, cannot kill another human being simply for reading the Vedas. Also, Lord Rama cannot be called a casteist if we consider some of the other incidents of the epic. For example, Lord Rama also ate the fruit given to him (after she had tasted it to check its sweetness!) by Shabri, an old tribal woman. In conclusion, the story of Shambuka in the Ramayana is definitely a work of ill-intended fabrication to discredit the magnanimous character of Lord Rama. It has been inserted into the original Valmiki Ramayana by a later author or poet.

Such a great video. I tried Vajrasuchi Upanishad and in context with Rigveda it reveals an entirely different meaning and applies that Brahaman, Kshatriya (Rajayan), Vaishya and Shudras are the qualities of a perfect being i.e. Purusha aka Parmatma aka Brahma aka God.

I'm not sure if education will be the solution for all unless those people change their thinking process. Personal experience- I went to college, and the 'teachers' there were so bad, they used to verbally abuse to us, verbally abuse to the point that one would cry, or will go into depression. And those abuse felt like they were especially thrown towards me (of course others suffered too, not me alone). And I was the only SC in my class. I dropped out, on 3rd semester. Because I couldn't make it there, they didn't even teach us properly, the theory class, the practicals. They make everything hell, (fyi we were only three students, means whole class is only 3 students). Idk what will happen next but, I'm planning to go into another college to start my study again. Let's see what happens.

If you observe this carefully even today we have these varnas not only in India but in every part of the world. There are people who serve us, who protect us, who do the manual jobs and people who are traders and businessman. And Lord Krishna also mentions, your varna is not decided by your birth but by your actions and duties. You see in ancient India this was followed correctly until some selfish people of Brahmin community started to misuses their powers. As Brahmins were highly respected by the kings, they became selfish to have all the power and luxuries for themselves and their children. As they were only people allowed to study scriptures, they manipulated the teachings of Bhagavad Gita. They told kings that people other than Brahmins who were mostly shudras and vaishyas, should not be allowed to temples, should not be touched, they should not be given education, they should not drink clean water from well, finally, they should not be seen at all. Which was never mentioned in any Vedas or Bhagavad Gita. And kings believed in those Brahmins as they thought Brahmins are very sacred people and they have the knowledge of Vedas and Gita. This happened for centuries. And Brahmins enjoyed all the luxuries offered by kings and seeing people of other castes as dogs or even worse than that. So the suppressed people of other communities started to make their own small groups and they felt comfortable within their group. And they started to discriminate against each other. This was the start of caste-based discrimination in India. Actually, these Brahmins did more damage to Hindu culture than what Muslims and British did If those Brahmins had followed their Dharma truthfully this would not have happened. And today they blame for giving reservation for backward caste people. When they suppressed these people to the core when they had power. And act as though they are the most truthful and humble human beings. Even today this has not changed. If you go to a Temple these so-called Brahmins treat people who are of the same community and who are rich and powerful in the society in a very dignified manner. And whenever they see a person who is poor and ugly immediately they show their true nature of untouchability and looking them as inferior to them. And no human being likes to be dominated, and whenever brahmins act as superior to everyone. ( In reality which they are not). People will get angry with that attitude. And this causes friction If you look at history India was the richest and most advanced nation in the world we had universities where people from other countries used to come to study. Diamond, gold and precious metals were sold on roads, great architecture, great culture. Everything was great until these selfish people started to misuse their powers. Back then people from Europe used to come to India because they knew India was an advanced and wealthy nation, and they took huge risks to discover sea routes to India. But today Brahmins are moving to the USA and Europe because they do not want to suffer discrimination and reservation in India.(The idea which was created by them). But even there they are forming the communities of Brahmins and keeping others out. So the conclusion is Brahmins are the people responsible to create a caste system. Which divided the people and final downfall of great Hindu and Indian culture and richness to the hands of Muslim and British people.

Just few Counterchecks- 1. If u check a book by ambedkar " Annihilation of cast" He has spotted few Sansrit texts from Rigveda which describes Verna/ cast .. Even, Bhagwadgeeta has few shlokas, which inferiorise Females and shudra .. 2. Styakam Jabala- its nowhere wriiten in internet or other sources that I found, that satykam jabala was a Shudra..... Infact, the the mother herself had no idea who the father was! 3. Ramayna- there are so many versions of ramanyan, among them one version describes the episode where Lord Ram Kills a Shudra who tries to learn Veda against the will of Vishvamitra Rishi.. 4. You are saying, major Hindu scripture!! So, would you not consider the ancient literatures such as, Manusmiriti, bhagwadgeeta , ramayana , or shashra, which werewritten by so called " bramhins" If u are infering that, any litrature that mension cast/ verna is not authentic Hindu litrature, then, there would be no meaning Of labeling them "Hindu"litrature!! 5. As u said, 90% ( I would say 99.99% ) people who identify them selves as Hindu, have no idea of all these information.. 1. Vedas only mention varna, no mentions of it was based on birth. If you could find anything otherwise pls share the exact quote or verse. 2. The mother os satyakam jabla was a maid, that is belonging to shudra clan. The father was not known, he could have been anyone and still the Rishi accepted him and that's the point. 3. Unfortunately the whole religion if full of myths, Lores, Multiple versions, contradictory messages but is what you get when you do not have a single authority and everybody has freedom to make his own god with his own gunas.

4. Manusmriti is a law book. Major books mean, more authoritative. Anything that was created only to suite to the society and make things up should be disregarded. You need to understand things and not just point fingers. Understanding needs a broader mindset. If something looks wrong, you try to understand why was it so. These books have different versions because it was transmitted by mouth for thousands of years by people and it is only understandable that they would modify it to suit to their, geography, people, society and culture.

Pls read "Sahyadrikand " an extension of skand purana ...a treatise on origins of all castes .... Obviously it was ordered to be destroyed by the peshwas .... Some copies have survived .... truth is difficult to digest ....then decide on the pride and what you deserve ....
