the context of this passage (and the message of the prophets of the Old Testament in general) is about blessing those who are faithful and punishing those who disobey (Isa. 45:9, 24). It’s within this principle that God declares that he creates “well-being” and “calamity" not evil like the one quoted. in Greek words have many meangings and the context tells you what meaning the author intended this verse respectfully means calamity not evil. He’s responsible for bringing prosperity to those who are faithful and calamity to those who rebel. That’s even consistent with his treatment of his own people-Israel. He rewards them when they obey and punishes them (e.g., slavery, exile, etc.) when they disobey. In that sense, yes, it is God who creates calamity. God didn’t bring evil into existence. It’s the result of sin and our fallen world. God, however, does bring instances of calamity on people. In fact, it’s his prerogative to do so. Even in these cases, though, it is good for him to render judgment on guilty people. Though we might subjectively not like the calamity we face, it is objectively good to punish those who do wrong, is it not?

He did take and eat....Did Adam have to keep taking and eating? No, what he did was a act of disobedience to God. Sin entered because of a act, not a condition. When a man is led away of his own lusts (tempted) and when the lust is conceived then...it brings forth sin. You see, there must be a action, a cause, that brings sin. Calling sin a condition is merely reinterpreting the very meaning of sin. Do you see how dangerous that can be?, to use reinterpretation?, Sin is the direct result of trespassing the law or known will of God. Now there is a thing called sin nature and that is what I think this guy is using as a backdrop to teach a seemingly sin nature kind of teaching. But the sin nature is a totally different subject and definition. This guy is using semantics and manipulation just like a shaman would do. Whether anyone else is convinced or not I know false doctrine when I hear it cause I have been rooted and grounded in the gospel all my life.
