Fun fact: the term sheriff comes from Shire Reeves which was the term for tax collector and law enforcer. Also the term Robbin Hood was not towards a single person but multiple and for a while, it labeled people who lived in the woods and were thieves. Similar to what we refer to as hood rats today.

I tried to edit it but it wouldn't for some reason they Robinhoods also had hooded capes hence robbing hoods.

It’s also where we got the term “hoodlum” meaning hooded thief/pickpocket

That's a fascinating piece of history! It’s interesting how terms evolve over time - from 'Shire Reeves' to 'sheriff' and how figures like 'Robin Hood' became legendary symbols. Amazing to think about how these words still connect us to those stories and roles from the past!

No an engineer but how does a building defies gravity? It sits on top of the ground. Gravity is pulling it down.

The archaeologists actually discovered 9 cities of Troy, built one on top of another. Some were destroyed by fire, some by earthquakes. Troy VII appears to be the closest one to the time of Homer's Troy, it apparently was destroyed by fire.

Any ruins of the Oasis city eould be buried in the shifting sands of time. If the area was excavated it would be found.

This was a good one. It’s fun to make comments of how you feel for 2️⃣ reasons. One is it trains the algorithm & 2️⃣ is you can just be honest & no one cares. For example I think the woman on this channel has the sexiest voice on the Internet. it’s nice to see her intelligence as well. Keep up the good work 👍🏻.

I was thinking damn every painting looks like the same family back then, guess it was the style....Nope it was me seeing a familiar dynasty

Its a different story! The child was mute, she cannot talk, the child went inside the cave, and the mother was looking for her, she found her talking with a lady, from that on the child was able to talk.
