Everyone sleeps on Beomgyu. My man is such a good dancer, and I'm so proud of him. Yeonjun is great too, and deserved his place as the best in this dance, but don't forget that Beomgyu is great too, and like ON THE SCENE said, he's good enough to be a main dancer.

Something I want to point out is that TXT are one of the most tallest male groups I know. (5’10 - 6’1) The best thing about this is that they don’t look awkward or stiff while dancing because I’ve noticed that with “taller” male idols. Of course they all have their weak points, varying from their torso and lower body movements but they are honestly so talented especially since their choreography is so different from what I’ve seen before in my years of taking interest in Kpop dances and taking footage to break it down for entertainment. 😅

As someone who only learn dance and singing for the very 1st time when he joined Big Hit, he's surprisingly do amazing job especially in the dance part. He's got pretty clean and sharp moves,no lacking at all. He's doing amazing with his facial expressions as well. I gotta say he's naturally talented 😍 being put in the debut line right after he joined shows that company has so much trust in him (well I also gonna say that his exceptional visual really captivated the whole company 😍) he's also has a great talent in variety shows ☺️☺️

the good thing about txt's choreo is that it's focused on teamwork. They all execute the same amount of power but despite their above average dancing skills the dance will look unfinished if one of the member is absent. It will look incomplete and lacking, but if they're performing together they can fill up that stage with just their mere presence. Choreographies like this often strengthen a groups bond. And their choreo's may seem easy but it's really hard if there's no cooperation from each member dancing it. In their first award show, MGMA. Yeonjun couldn't attend cause of back pain so they have to perform without him but they did not change the choreography to fit 4 people and instead left yeonjun's position empty, they could've adjusted their positions but didn't cause the choreo's story and elements wouldn't be the same, and TXT are a group with 5 members so they left it like that. I hope more people appreciate their choreo😭✊

Let's be real, the only reason Soobin is ranked last is bc ALL of them are great dancers. If they're individually put in different groups they'd all be main/lead dancers material. Also, let's take Soobin's proportions into consideration, he isn't as slim as the other members- he's got more of an athletic build, yet he executes every movement perfectly.

To be honest, you pointed out all their strengths and weaknesses in different aspects. This could help even non-dancers to understand. Your dance analysis are the best dance analysis I have seen so far compared to other channels. Btw, can you do stray kids' double knot? Each of them have fancams in weekly idol ep.428 and I want to see them since they are from JYP which is a company that almost all trainees are good dancers. Keep up the good work!❤

I also think balance issues in Soobin and HK have to do with their height. Both are the tallest and are still growing even taller like way past average idol height and they have huge feet so when they start to plateau in growth, it could have a very interesting effect both in their personal technique and group formations.

I am actually shock how plenty of people underestimated Kai's skills, flexibility doesn't really define how good an idol is, technically. Seulgi for example is not flexible, but she is one of the best female main dancers of all time. Btw, thanks for being here when this video has like 200+ views. As I watched this video analysis, I became proud of him tho and discovered his great points when it comes to dancing. @@onthescene7897 you should watch the new rules choreo by txt. You'll notice how fluid yeonjun is with the "let me go go go" arm movement and huening kai is as fluid as him, the other members just kinda make circles. But thats when i realised hyuka is close to yeonjuns dancing

Read somewhere that Kai choose dancing as his major when he changed schools to Hanlim. Maybe he did it purposedly, so that he could not only learn to dance in BigHit but also in school. I saw a major improvement with Kais dancing the first comeback. I'm already excited what will come the 18th of Mai.

Can you do red velvet? I always curious with their dancing , all of them seems always different in dancing. Like wendy who always over execute every movement and theres yeri who always under execute. I like this kind of content. I hope you do more of it. I find it interesting, what a dancer point of view would think. I use to think Kai wasn’t as amazing as the others in dancing mainly because I thought he looked quiet stiff especially in the legs. But I fell like he’s improved a lot since debut. i love how professionals wether it be in dancing or singing always praise txt and say they have great potential, of course they point out their flaws(nobody's perfect lol) but they still compliment them more and praise their technics and talent, yet so many kpop stans unfortunately always put them down and discredit their talent. When i first saw TXT, i thought my bias would be Yeonjun. But after watching their dance practices and fancams, i was drawn most to Hueningkai, the same way I was drawn to BTS Jungkook. They really have precise and powerful dance moves. And even though Hyuka said that he wasn't flexible, i never really see that degrade the quality of his dancing. 😊

It's really instructive to have an analysis based only on technicality! The video is REALLY methodically constructed and offer solid points of comparison. I like how you chose and highlighted the moves during the dance, the strengths, weaknesses and overall commentary for each member, then a global level comparison with other groups. Yup, methodical. Nothing like videos where they just drop a "yeah it's just quick movements." at the end. What does "facial projections" means? I think their progress is visible when you compare The Dream Chapter : Magic comeback and their break dances and covers in the awards and year end shows (check them out on TXT's channel, they are quite entertaining, TXT didn't get the Stage Craftmen for nothing! What kind of kpop group would flex a shadow dance in an award show lol. ofc you don't have to do a video on them if you don't want to). For the break dances, the choreographer really chose who gets the center move depending each member speciality: for example, Taehyun often gets quick arm movements, and Soobin wavy arms/torso movements or powerful movements (Yeonjun and Soobin said that Soobin's speciality is powerful moves). I'm Soobin biased so I pay more attention, and I really think that there's a powerful/elegant/graceful flavor budding. During the comeback he was like "textbook dancing" when Beomgyu and Yeonjun kinda already incorporated their own flavor? I think he's really good at head, arms and hands movements (he has huge hands so each finger move is visible!). For the Boy in Luv cover, Soobin danced the rap part WAY differently than Jungkook, the way he stood on tiptoe before falling near the end was quite cool, and sometimes it seems like he's controlling the speed of the move to make it real smooth (honestly I don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me for this one). In the GDA dance break, after Yeonjun's jump kick, even if Soobin and Hueningkai did less moves than Taehyun and Beomgyu (tall people problems?), his head movement when turning somehow reminds me of classical dancing, and he made each movement really visible and clean. Yeah I wrote a lot on my bias without knowing if it falls under the technique category lol. if I remember correctly, TXT said that other difficult choreos are Blue Orangeade and New Rules, and Can't We Let The Monster Alive (we are waiting for BigHit to release the dance practice on this one). I'm excited to see their progress on the future comeback, they all said one of the choreography is REALLY hard, so don't forget to check it in the future! And please tell me your global thoughts on the break dances and covers if you watch them, I'd like to know if I didn't imagine the progress I saw lol.

Wow, I love this kind of detailed discussion. Btw, facial projection, in a more easy explanation, is a pause of face emotions. For example, a three seconds steps had been executed with crinkled nose without changing expressions. I will love to watch those other year-end shows you said, I already watched their MMA and MAMA ones. The shadow dance was so lit. I have yet to watch dance covers. TXT themselves said that that was the hardest choreography they had to learn to the point where they said it'd be better to learn New Rules and Angel or Devil at the same time instead😂 But they've been hinting the the new choreo of the new title track is the hardest choreo they're currently learning.

nice, balanced analysis. really good job verbally identifying where and how their strengths and weaknesses happen. to make your clips more friendly to non-dancers like myself, i think that it would be beneficial to pause and place arrows that point to the areas after each point you make in your strengths and weaknesses section. for example, i didnt understand where the lower torso was in yeonjuns weakness clip and in hueningkais weakness clip i had to replay it after reading. in taehyuns and soobins strength clips i didnt know which parts of their body i shouldve honed in on from your comments, especially since their bodies are hidden by their clothes. i would also leave the writing up on the screen for a bit longer for non-native english speakers. im a native and its pretty fast. whilst pausing can work, the audience is trying to read the screen and watch the clip at the same time. once again i really like your style of video, and ive subscribed :)

These are great suggestions. I normally read things fast, so I did not realize it will be hard to go from the clip to the analysis. In my opinion it is quite correct overall. I personally think the weakness of the members are more related to their body structure and proportions. Soobin is very tall, it is sometimes awkward for tall people to dance but soobin is good. Beomgyu and taehyun are the smallest in the grp, their energy tends to spill out compared to the others. Hyuka is normally not flexible as they said, thus why his lower body tends to be stiff sometimes but he is surprisingly good in slow moving choreos(mama perf) yeonjun has a shorter torso and long legs. That's why, when he dances his legs really stands out(during his freestyle vlive, his legs were eye catching)

Thank you for this video. One of the things I like the most in TXT is their choreography, their so unique, energetic, they do so many different moves and formations and they are only a 5 members group, like the amount of formations in crown and cat and dog is just crazy. It's so satisfying to watch them dancing, I love them.

beomgyu dances clearly with good power which is why he’s second best. he also dances with a lot of emotion so i can see why his stage presence/facials are good. people don’t notice his facial expressions as much bc the camera doesn’t pan on him all the time during live performances so i recommend watching his fan cams, especially during run away or can’t you see me. if i’m being honest, i think beomgyu’s greatest strength has to be his facial expressions

Just the fact that their best dance points are mostly when they're at the center proves to me just how good txt's teamwork and understanding is. They know which member would shine on which part of the choreo. It's like all of then were destined to be together as a group. Give them 2 more years and they'll be one of the best 4th gen kpop group if not the best

Fair enough and objective judment. I like Yeonjun’s dance movement since it’s very well controlled, quick but nice, his body shape is beautiful as well. I love the dancer who dances but doesn’t look so strong and tired, Yeonjunie is the one, although I like Jimin’s dance style the best. He makes the dancing becomes beautiful and gentle (even he is not my bias too lolll)

They are all amazing dancers, especially when you know how tall they are, Yeonjun is really an ace, but I am surprised with Beomgyu being second! Dont sleep on his talent please🥺 he may be not as good as the others in rapping or singing but he still does amazing!
