I will say, one of the reasons why the spines might be chipped is because they are made out of resin. They're a lot more fragile than the final versions. But I could be wrong.

Man just called recent SMHA very high quality. Bro they're some of the worst figures to come out in recent years. Terrible paint apps, limbs falling off and figures coming apart when being taken out of the box. Hiya is the objective winner.

Hiya is very consistent, and their figures make excellent display pieces for sure with all that detailed paint. Reminds me of Neca tbh. But Subjectively, you could call Playmates high quality because they're at least consistent. But tamashii still has some good shit cooking. Let's just hope we Don't get any more godzilla hand grenades... Thankfully, I've been getting good Quality Control figures from Shmonsterarts. I hate seeing someone get a new godzilla just to have it fall apart. But this is something that shouldn't be an issue for a 10 year+ figure line.

I really do hope they do what they did with the atomic heat ray version of 1991, to the translucent version of 2014. The way they went back to update the old mold of 1991 after making the new hest ray version was amazing. Fingers crossed they do it with the OG 2014 figure!

The promo images on sh monsterarts evolved godzilla looked very good (except the bit of green on it like 2014 sh monsterarts godzilla). head sculpt was good everything was good. but later when they released mothra and suko sh monsterarts. they changed sculp and also the head 😭.And also what are those yellow lines on his chest. what dissapointed me the post was that they changed the shade of pink,that was my favorite part 💀

Hiya Evo Godzilla dorsal is much more accurate than shma. You can do side by side comparison with Evo Goji in the movie while his in a normal state. While SHMA barely have any similarities, more in fact shma pink is similar to Evo Goji when he lights up but since shma state this is his normal mode than the pink on shma is not accurate at all
