Its crazy because I don't know if I'm the only one but it feels like Roman's spears have changed as the years went on. Like I remember back then in the early days of the Shield it looked like he was legitimately spearing people in half but nowadays it looks a lot more like just a glancing arm shot he gives to his opponent's midsection

It’s easy to stay on top when you are constantly fed main event spotlight until eventually something works. How many failed attempts from title reigns to royal rumble wins he has had this last decade? A guy that rarely appears on the product, hardly ever defends the title… he’s making Brock Lesnar feel like a blue collar worker, ffs. You put this guy beside the likes of Rock and Stone Cole? Really? If he was as good as Brock is in-ring at least, I could understand. I get it if you are a fan, that’s your taste. But I just don’t buy it, and I might be the only one, idk.

I think romans spear is the best as early in his career he really went for them all putting a lot of power into it like Goldberg then also he leaps of the ground unlike Goldberg but he makes it looks like a actual spear and he does it mid air aswell like the one he did to Shane or the spear he did to dolph where he basically spiralled in the air. He has the best spear.

1. Stone Cold by 1000 miles. He just really goes into it hard and really has impact. KO is very much just trying his best to copy Stone Cold’s instead of doing his own thing he needs to go back to the Pop-Up Powerbomb that just has a lot more impact. 2. For me it’s a tie. Both are amazing and you clearly haven’t seen enough Diamond Cutters because of DDP doesn’t jump for the RKO it comes out of nowhere a lot more than the RKO, it doesn’t matter in what position you are in you are always in danger of the Diamond Cutter. RKO is equally as dangerous to me and IMO has more force with how Randy jumps up for it. 3. Triple H no question. Rollins’ Pedigrees don’t have any impact for me unless it’s one of his spear counters. Especially since it isn’t a finisher for Rollins but now a signature. 4. Undertaker just because he does it more and uses it as a finisher more and as you mentioned the wind up 5. Rhyno his Gore is underrated he legit breaks people in half with all of his GOOOOOOOREES!!!! Bron Breakers is definitely one of the best spears currently and Roman’s spear is solid but isn’t the best his best spears is always the corner set up. You aren’t in the minority of Edge’s spear being the worst, his has always been in the conversation of worst spear because of the way the impact is. 6. Britt Baker D.M.D. It’s a fresh take on the Mandible Claw delivering it from the Rings of Saturn so it’s damage to the arms and the mouth with no way of someone behind able to fight back. I feel like I would prefer The Fiend’s Mandible Claw because he’s doing it like how Mankind used to do it without Mr. Socko I feel like Mr. Socko doesn’t has the same effect of a Mandible Claw but still good because he’s still chocking them with a sock. 7. Dijak’s Feast Your Eyes. I feel like the GTS on Punk and Kenta always looks awkward because I feel like it would be delivered better from someone who is taller. The way Dijak does his reverse GTS always does it for me and feels like it has more force, I would even prefer a K360 over Punk’s or Kenta’s 8. No question it’s Kurt’s. Just the way he sells it with his screaming and twisting of the ankle also the way he would never give up. I also refuse to believe Swagger’s Ankle Lock is better than Gable’s. Gable does it a lot more like Angle with how he really sells the Ankle Lock more only thing is that it isn’t a finisher for him really. 9. Bret Hart and Natalya bascially the whole Hart family have amazing Sharpshooters. Especially Bret really sitting and really wrenching the legs back unlike Natalya who doesn’t wrench back as her Uncle. Only people who can rival Bret’s is Sting Scorpion Death Lock tho I personally haven’t seen many and Owen’s 10. I’m probably bias but to me it’s always Eddie’s Frog Splash. RVD’s is always for the high and the impact and Montez is really the successor of the 5 Star Frog Splash with his From The Heavens. I’ve never really noticed how much better Dominic Frog Splash has gotten the only other person other than Eddie who really do the frog motion well IMO. 11. I’ve always preferred The Rock Bottom over the Book End but I will agree Book End has more impact and is used as a finisher more. I feel like Solo’s Spinning Solo could eventually get there if he wants to use it an equal amount than the Samoan Spike

For the spear, I honestly would give it to Bobby Lashely. Even though it isn't a finishing move for him, I feel like he has the brutality that Goldberg gives while also just looking genuinely devastating. As for the Mandible Claw, if memory serves me correctly: and if doesn't, please let me know: but I vaguely remember Bray also adding a pseudo choke slam to the Mandible Claw, so if the person taking it was fighing it, he would slam them to the ground, rather than letting them fall to the ground

In my opinion the rock bottom is kind of a lifting falling sto. If you look at it carefully he often sweeps the leg of the opponent. The book end is more a falling big uranage.

Roman got my favourite Spear, although I do believe he used to hit it with more impact back in the Shield days compared to now. Like how HHH had to dial back the Pedigree over time, I feel like the same might happened with Roman and the Spear. Still, I love me a Roman Reigns Spear. I agree Edge is one of the worst. When Edge retired in 2011 and Christian started doing the Spear to honor him, despite Christian's small size I think even he managed a better Spear then Edge.
