pathfinder brother if you check the history of Isaac Newton's laws of motion and the Vaisheshika Sutras of Rishi Kanad have similar principles. difference is that kanad born 100 years before newton hes the one who created these laws when newton doesn't even born. :)

Fools compare these great people, but a wise man will always say they all had their own work in their timeline, example without maxwell Einstein would never able to get STR, and without hertz and max plank Einstein would never mathematical discovery of Photoelectric effect

Well no offence, it was just a language barrier. Those texts didn't reach west at that time. But when the Britishers ruled over countries the language English got promoted and the one who discovered stuff at that time in the language which most world spoke got the credit.

Whoever discovered it, it helped humanity discover more things and helped our civilization grow.

Ok i will answer In my eyes THOMAS YOUNG and HUYGENS FRISNEL deserve it the most When the world was still revovling around classical physics they came up with wave nature of light (Which led to the birth if quantum physics, a whole new world). The courage required to break the mindset of people that the world revolved around classical physics and to tell them that there was a whole new world beyond their expectations is crazy.
