For me, it's Richie Valens (portrayed by Lou Diamond Phillips) in his final performance in the movie "La Bamba". I was 7 years old when I saw that movie and it was the reason I started playing guitar... I played and sang "Donna" for show and tell in first grade lol. Ten years later, my dad remembered and surprised me with a used '93 Fender Strat for my 17th birthday... sunburst with a maple fretboard, just like Richie, and he only paid $75 for it 😎 I'll be turning 45 next year, and I just put a fresh set of Slinkies on her. Thanks, Pop 🎸♥️
