Larry Bird was the same exact way. Him and Magic were on Letterman one time and he explained why he was an a-hole to Magic and his response was Magic was always happy and came out with this huge smile so Larry’s goal was to try and take a few of those teeth home with him. That was just his killer edge that so few athletes have/had.

Its only helped with soccer National teams. Take England's early 2000s squad for example - "the Golden Genration". Probably the best group of talent the country as a whole ever had. Almost every single one of them are considered a legend now - David Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes, Rooney, Michael Owen, Ferdinand, John Terry, etc. But they NEVER accomplished shit on international/world stage together. Simply because they could not overcome their club rivalry & hatred on one another. Beckham said it was so bad... they wouldnt even eat lunch together. lol Nowwwwww, look at England's team, they have been 5 times more succesful with half the talent... been pretty damn good last few years just they push club rivalries aside and are friendly with one another. aNYWAYY - Pretty interesting how much emotions and friendship can affect team sports.

Brady is so right you need that killer instant..I knew DeSean Watson will never have that..the game the chiefs played the Texans week1 after the 2019 super bowl..Watson was going around dapping up the chiefs there was even a play he ran put of bounds and sat on the chiefs bench..I knew then he was a posser
