If I remember correctly, the code I got as a kid that gives you all the items (except for the dynamite, which you can purchase from the store immediately) is LLHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH3B. @TooLameToDie3 жыл бұрын
I miss instruction manuals, tip lines and the sheer joy of firing up a brand new cartridge. Games today have a serious lack of "soul". I mean there are still some damn fine games but it's the little extras that made them that much more special.
@jrvbamafan13 жыл бұрын
@@TooLameToDie the instruction manuals and maps were 2 of the best things back in the 8 and even 16 bit eras. You felt like you were going on a real adventure. To use an example I remember getting Ducktales for the Nintendo and reading on the bosses you had to fight....fast forward to the remake probably 20+ years later on ps3, and i remember when I saw the bosses thinking that's what my 9 year old mind had made them up to be all those years ago on the original game. Its funny what a little imagination and creativity can do to make something that might not be that visually impressive seem so much more of a big deal. It's a real shame the kids nowadays have had that part of gaming taken away from them because everything is photorealistic now

I've watched a couple of different speed runs on this game now and I'm just curious is there a way to make sure that the items are in the same place as each time you play through because I thought the placements of the items were always randomized each time you played the game? Because you and this other guy's Speed Run I watched we're getting the exact same items at the exact same places for example like the dynamite at the store and the wallet right outside of Eddie's apartment is there a way to make Shirley items are always going to be exactly in one spot versus another on the game? Also what is the secret to speed running this game or attempting to speed run also I would like to know what the trick is on the last boss will you start pounding him over and over again because as a kid I was always taught that you're supposed to charge your fist up that's what he does and then hit him with a fully charged fist but not try to go for the over and over hits
