Such a throwback, iirc this was Aki's 3d idol outfit model in 1st and 2nd fest. This got changed eventually to fit other's model (because it sticks out like a sore thumb) to the disappointment of Watame greatly lol.

You're confusing Aki with AZKi (who had the only black idol outfit). This idol outfit of Aki (one of three designs for JP) lasted until the 3rd fes. Starting the 4th, they wear the more frilly idol outfit.

Yeah I remember that. It happened when they tried to streamline on top of pleading YT(maybe JP side in general too) of being viewer friendly and looks what happened now(new members/EN/ID). Her model got hit for nothing. Aki just couldn't catch a break. I swear if they don't give Aki something as a present when she hit 1M... then I'm gonna be sad.

The body in their 1st idol outfit was roughly categorized with 3 types Plains (Rushia, Kanata etc.) Hills (Pekora, Towa etc.) Mountains (Noel, Choco etc.) Aki's was an outlier, it was sculpted w/ a bit of realism where some parts are visibly concave particularly her armpit area(which WTM was obsessed about) compared to like Noel's where the armpit area is flat that is connected to the cylindrical arm. Aki's tone was also diff from others where it was colored more like a cream yellow, while others are either colored cream white or cream brown.

It's the armpit + breast. Wakipai enjoyers specifically focus on the crease that forms between the armpit and the side of the breasts. Hence why it's called wakipai (Waki for armpit, and Pai from Oppai)
