Hey Gentry, im a bit of an older fan (in terms of age not time here, not too old tho) and i wanted to say that i had gotten a spinstar because you had recommended it and i saw a sick beginner bundle for it with a holster and extra string, and its really really fun to use. When i had gotten back into throwing i had picked the duncan windrunner a month or so ago and it was the first time i ever used unresponsive in my life but i was determined to re-experience an old hobby in a new way but even though i didnt get far with that style of yoyo, it did teach me alot about control and speed because i was learning the bind first and then imagery tricks in general. So when i swapped to responsive i was kinda tuned up for using it already so that was good. Funnily i believe in some ways its easier to learn some categories (not sure on what all) on classic yoyo tricks using a pro throw, but thats probably just me, i generally learn imagery tricks on unresponsive first and build speed in doing it through practice so i can do it on responsive. Anyways thank you for the recommendation from back then and i wish you the best!
