Agreed. Jets have a pretty brutal one, but not as bad as the Leafs. I could see the Canucks smoking the Oilers, or vice versa, really. Either of those teams will have a decently easy path.

Season series means nothing, but I think it's the other way around, Canucks match up really well against Edmonton. They're very responsible defensively, have elite goaltending, and a really good 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line. But Edmonton is a really good team, I'm just hoping we get to see the series.

toughest conference: central with Dallas, Jets, Colorado and Vegas (who wildcarded in there). all potential winners. next: Atlantic with Florida, TB, Tor, Bos 3rd is Pacific with just Van and Ed, with maybe the preds of note weakest is metro as NYR and Carolina only have to worry about each other

22 players on the Knights team last year were canadian. 15 on the Avs the year before. 14 on Tampa. 22 on the blues. Easiest path, is for the team with the most Canadians.

Or they would stop with expansion and watering down talent pool. 1993 there were only 24 teams in the league and 8 were in Canada. Only 8 teams didn't make the playoffs back then, and the season was 84 game long. (Less travel) also, owners don't "put together teams" GMs do. And all players are paid in USD but Canadian Teams get their Revenues in Canadian Dollars. Which is about .70 cents on the Dollar they pay out in salary. Which is why before the salary Cap Canada was down 2 teams with Winnipeg Jets moving to Phoenix and Quebec Nordiques moving to Colorado. At least they were nice enough to let the yet again failed Atlanta team move to Winnipeg.

Canadian channel with a lot of white guys who either played the game, coached or were a General Manager those are the facts & the reality of the situation so what's your point really based upon? Btw skin color is irrelevant or it should be it's people like you who keep bringing it up. Is hockey perfect ? No. Is it free from racism? No Neither is society as a whole yet. I see hockey as ALL inclusive anybody can play regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. My favorite team has had players from many different ethnic backgrounds & religious beliefs play for it, so there are many teams who practice this and at the pro level this is the way it is now. There are now many African American or African Canadian commentators too, mainly ex players but that's why they're hired because of their first hand knowledge & expertise not because of DEI political crap ideology. Either lighten up or go watch a American channel if you want your own regional bias confirmed.
