An announcement on FB saying that music notation wasn’t created to make my life difficult is a sure way to make blokes like me go here immediately 😂😂😂 And I am glad that I did. This is a funny video, with lots of information that I didn’t know. Thanks for putting a smile on my face on a gray rainy saturday 🙂 Oh - And by the way - A video on “metronome speed” in a similar style is most welcome 🙏

"The way-back machine" - That's a reference that either blew right by a lot of people or brought back great Saturday morning memories. And yes, I would like to see a video on the metronome speed issue with Classical music. I have seen many videos where pieces (by Bach or Czerny, for example) are played at such a tempo that they begin to sound like mush and lose their musicality. I find it hard to believe that great composers intended their music to sound that way.

I don't even know how I know it, but "way back machine" is just there in my mind.

I appreciate the breadth of skill undergirding your synopsis. Bravo! Much to nourish us knuckleheads. I WOULD suggest backing up from the camera as your prettiness was a distraction. Thanks so much!

Great video about music theory. I loved the part you sing aahh-aahhh-aaahhh to explain the long-short thing (I entered in loop mode and listened many many times). Also, you saying latim and italian words... it's so cute.

Heyyy! Do you think you could do a tutorial on Beethoven’s 5th symphony? I’ve been wanting to learn this one so bad and you’re the only tutorial page I feel like I can learn from without getting completely lost.
@ThePianoKeys3 жыл бұрын
Well, the 5th Symphony is a huge, long work written for an entire orchestra. What section are you thinking of?

In your history studies, did you learn who the crazy person was that came up with compound time?

Compound time is just a way of thinking about rhythm. Don't stress about it. 😁

SHEET MUSIC IS ANTIQUE. IMO, ITS AN OUT OF DATE UNCALLED FOR SYSTEM, DESIGNED TO HIDE THE BEAUTY OF MUSIC.

How does it hide the beauty of music?

From this comment I would deduce that you are a very talented, young musician who is frustrated with reading sheet music. Who knows, maybe you will come up with the next great advancement to musical notation! Until, then, we are stuck with what we have, unless you already have a better idea. If so, what is it?
@snacklepussPSN2 жыл бұрын
@@mediamannaman im frustrated that sheet music isnt available to everyone in a decrypted form. My idea for a new technique is actually quite simple ...

I have pondered this thought myself, but I haven't been able to produce anything that is easier than what is currently available
