Surprising, very, that progress on the path 🐦 can combine well with physical intimacy. The Bhavagad Gita, that useful manual 🕉 for daily life, reveals how, to my somewhat befuddled 🙃 Western mind. That "communion through work 💙 excels abandonment of work" is from Chapter 5 of Swami Tapasyanda's translation. Here's my best takeaway, something I could use. A being steeped (solely engaged) in Brahman? Brahmachari may have primarily/originally meant someone dwelling in the absolute/immanent or well aligned (khud Khuda)/established in Tao/cosmic connection/communion/yoga (that may be an invisible (energy) connection/channel through (spine) the crown up towards the sky and down the root/perineum/soles of feet towards the earth. It may be interesting to note that Krishna was called Nithya Brahmachari despite his legendary romance. I wonder if (healthy) new borns/infants/children naturally/effortlessly have that connection, if so, many of us are (akin to a kati patang) yearning for realignment); secondly, it may have (later) come to mean a devoted seeker/learner/doer or one engaged in sole/exclusive/focussed/steadfast (breakthrough) pursuit of something higher/worthwhile/elevating/evolving/liberating. It is said that true human freedom/liberation/independence is in cosmic communion and it's worth more than a billion hard fought and won external battles.
