I know some feel like Abraham’s death by Negan was overshadowed by Glenn, but I think that people wouldve been more upset if he got his comic death (which Denise got in the show). With the Negan death it was almost like a sacrifice, him making himself look big and not cowering to Negan so that he would be the victim instead of anybody else

Yeah I honestly hate what they did to daryl in the show. They made it "the daryl show" for fan service. I was actually wanting TWD to kill daryl with negan so that I would stop hearing about daryl. I liked his character early on, but he became very dull. I LOVED Abraham and they really did him dirty in the show. In the comics, Abraham was ricks right hand man in MANY situations, but they had to make daryl this almighty God of a character.

@@harrisonfech9713 y'know, I agree. like, I do enjoy Daryl, but I think you're spot on with the fact that he became a lot more dull as the show goes along. he's a "cool" character, but his stoic-ness only goes so far and I think I rathered when he was more hot-headed and emotional like he was earlier in the show.

Damn, the comics had a lot more rape in the stories. I don't remember them addressing exactly who Abraham killed or why, when they showed that flashback scene in the show. I figured it was just early in the outbreak and his family was mortified by him brutally killing people. Since zombies aren't something that people know about in the TWD universe, I figured he just killed zombies but they thought he was killing sick people or something and the mom took off with the kids. It's actually kind of weird that a horrific family raping spree would leave said family more traumatized by Abe's revenge killings. It seems especially weird in an apocalypse situation. Hard to make sense of a recently violated woman fleeing her loyal husband, who is also a badass soldier, and trying to go it alone in the world of cannibalistic humans. I always did think that fat biker dude was super creepy when he had Carl pinned down but again, there was no overt threat of rape. I do love that the tv version still used the neck bite for Rick to execute the most heinous kill of the show though. But ya, the comics seem like they were a lot darker and much more rapey. Personally, I'm glad the show avoided too much of that. I don't have much tolerance for it. I can handle gore and violence and brutality just fine, but I find rape to be the most despicable act there is. I played college ball and we caught wind that some dude at one of our parties was trying to sell roofies and we had reason to believe that he had used them in the past. I'll plead the 5th upon questioning but that dude caught the worst beating I have ever seen in person
