Older Alexa’s have a voice that is not a real person’s, it was created using Text to Speech software and Artificial Intelligence Technology, but new Alexa’s have an actual real person’s voice hired by Amazon. While Amazon has never revealed who the voice of Alexa is, Author Brad Stone was able to find out who it was after “canvasing the professional voiceover community for his new book, “Amazon Unbound: Jeff Bezos and the Invention of a Global Empire”. The person is from Colorado and is a voiceover artist for a living named Nina Rolle.
