Trust me, from a Feyenoord fan, Arne Slot is a great great great manager. Ever since he stepped in at Feyenoord, everything changed. We won the title, the cup and reached the conference league final. This year we had to go trough in the CL, performing really well against Atletico Madrid twice but at the end we miss big players that can finish a game, like Griezman. And let’s not forgot, he did all that with the smallest budget from the top 3 (Ajax, PSV) in the Netherlands. Every Feyenoord fan, and even every football fan in the Netherlands is going to miss him! 😢

@@GarethWilliams-fr4un As another Feyenoord fan with a love for Liverpool i can say i'm excited. Ofcourse his experience is in a relative small competition. But I think he can. I can imagine people will compare him with Ten Hag. Both from the netherlands. And experience wise they are equal. The big difference is: Arne slot is a communication king. He is always correct and well spoken. Besides that I have seen him made tactical changes during a match quickly and perfect. He is into details and I really think this is a match made in heaven. He is not a Klopp or Alonso by name.. At Feyenoord he made small chages to the main tactics based on the material of players. I will miss him at Feyenoord leaving a big hole. But A nice future for Liverpool and Arne is coming!

From an Ajax supporter: Financially speaking, Ajax is the strongest, second PSV and Feyenoord third. PSV are having a historical season with just one loss so far, they are far above the rest. The second place of Feyenoord is therefore a solid performance. Feyenoord have a very enjoyable style of play under Slot, for instance, Van Basten likes them more than PSV. Feyenoord have been showing dominant play in Europe against the likes of Atletico Madrid and Lazio. Everybody in The Netherlands agrees that Slot is world class.

The difference between ETH and Arne Slot is that ETH performed well with a very talented team (de Jong, Tadic, de Ligt etc). Arne Slot has the skills to make teams very good, even when players are not the biggest talents. I’m sure when he will manage Liverpool it will be a success and I’m sad to see him leave at Feyenoord. Klopp and Liverpool staff made load of mistakes in transfer after Edwards left that's for sure, that includes the signing of Nunez and Diaz, especially they splashed all the cash to sign Nunez while lot of defenders were injured during that time still beyond me.

We got lucky Endo performed well but he's no title winning calibre DM. Look how Edu and Arteta got Rice vs how Jorg and Klopp handled the Lavia saga and you can clearly see why bringing Michael Edwards back was the best thing FSG could do! He would never waste unnecessary 45m on Gravenberch when we have Curtis, Elliot, Macca, Szobo for those spots. It would have been much better spent on getting a world class DM, Palinha for example was available for 80m.

Possibly but far from surely, they were second in the league to Ajax when the season stopped(second place still impressive though with a small team like AZ). And Louis van Gaal also won the league with AZ, also did not work out in the PL

From what I have gathered, Amorim wanted total control of transfers and Edwards is not the kind of guy to allow that straight away. I've also heard that the plane into London was chartered by West Ham. Slot is very similar to Klopp in many ways and the squad that he inherits will suit his playing style so it reduces the need to place square pegs in round holes, whilst he will probably be given a decent budget to bring in fresh faces. Liverpool F.C are in very good hands.

His record is exceptional considering the players had had to work with. ETH had much better players because of smart sales by Mark Overmars and his team at Ajax. When Ajax sold (as usual) all there players to teams owned by very rich people and Mark and his team left Ajax was in decline and had to find its way up. Arne arrived a an middleweight team but made them a semi heavyweight. Not yet at the top but I’m sure he can with the rich people behind him and better players than we can pay in the Netherlands. PL has a lot to do with foreigners investment than with UK traditional soccer. So it would be nice to realize that for the UK commentators and journalists.

The guy needs Time to implement his style of play, klopp is going to be hard to replace. They can still be challenging each year if they keep some important players and recruit well. Most think klopp announcing he was leaving is why there has been such a drop off. Personally the team hasn’t been as good since mane Fabinho firmino left, holding on to those players for another season or two would have won another epl.

Nothing against Slot he’s done a great job. But I would rate the Dutch league no better than Turkish league or Belgium League. So if a coach does well in Turkey for Galatasaray for example why is that not rated or linked to Liverpool? But Slot is rated highly because he won a league in Holland and had one good European run. So this makes him ready to coach Liverpool? I think it’s a similar appointment to ETH. Can’t believe out of all the coaches in the world Liverpool think this guy is there man

I am a psv fan but realy i have never seen a better coach in holland. He is even better than ETH. So dont worry, he a great man and a great coach and he speaks better english then ETH😂😂

Besides being tacticly gifted, Slot is most of all a peoples manager. I would be surprised if he would t succeed.
