@@hakujiu the "note" means the title of the KZbin video... In these videos, they always give a super dramatic title that makes you think someone ended their own life. In reality, you get an unfortunate story of someone, Beomhan, who left the US and moved to Korea like many others to become an Idol trainee, only he's very alone in all of this. It doesn't seem like he's got any support from he's company or anyone else for that matter which later also terminated his contract due (mostly) because of his excessive talk about his poor mental health and getting treatment... I really frickin hate when people make up crap and lies that can completely destroy someone’s entire career, livelihood, and mental health. Why the heck do people make up SA stories?? What in the world do they gain? They’re harming everyone, including themselves because people know when someone is BSing. And it’s extremely disrespectful to actual SA survivors and it’s something no one should joke about. Something is really going wrong with Beomhan, I’ve never seen him this disgruntled and aggressive and with his mental health issues it wouldn’t surprise me if he is currently in a manic state. My uncle has manic depression and it always gets way worse in the fall and winter. He’s such a smart, gentle, loving and kind person who would give you the shirt off his back, but when he gets manic he becomes extremely angry and hostile and scary. My friend's grandpa died and she laughed while joking. Both were devastated, but they used humor to cope with it to avoid feelings of depression. It's a normal thing. He apologized, and people continued bringing it up. He did not actually retract his apology, he continued to say he stands with women, he was tired. He has always had mental health issues, and he reached his breaking point. I have too, and I lost one of the most important people in my life as a result. He should be held accountable, but he needs love and support in addition to therapy. He apologized again and said he will see a professional. He apologized for repeating a slur used against him. He isn't a bad person, he just couldn't take it anymore, and that's okay. He is taking responsibility and we should support him through it so he doesn't do anything else he will regret

I love Beomhan and have been a fan of him since well the beginning. I want nothing but the best for him. But if I'm being honest, I don't think the idol life is for him. Hes going the things and people will hate on him for no reason. He would talk about serious things on tiktok (which I like, especially, since I've been through that) but he would get hate for it. Like some "fans" would say, "I wish idols could talk about serious things and let us know etc" but when someone actually does. It's a problem. He released his debut but he had to apologize for it. Why?? Because it wasn't good enough? He literally worked on everything himself. Like I know a lot of groups/artists who did everything themselves or had a low budget, but people still like theirs? He would post videos of him dancing and people who hate on him? Like who cares, if he can dance or not. But anyway. I honestly think he needs to take a break and step away from social media for a while. Just until HE'S better. Because I worry for him a lot. Like I love him so so much. I love watching his funny videos. Love seeing him dance or show his smile. But I don't want him to be fake happy for us. Like I feel like some of the people upset aren't even fans. They just see someone joking or see videos taken out of context and immediately jump on the hate train. It sucks. It's happened to idols before. I just wish the best for him. But I am sad/happy his fanmeeting (for 16th & 17th) we're cancelled. Because 1. You'll never know who'll show up. 2. I didn't have the money, and really wanted to see him. 3. He needs a break to work on himself. I do hope some fans, friends, or his mind tell him. Hey. About stepping away from social media and working on yourself for a while. Practice. Work on your music. Try to get better at something. But I will always support Beommie.

let's be real now, if an idol dates, let them. They're your idol because you admire their looks and talent, right? Everyone can be a bit delulu at times as if their idol is supposed to be for them and the fans only. I'm not saying being delulu is a bad thing, I'm saying that you're selfish for wanting more out of your idol. You're supposed to be inspired and comforted by them through their character and music etcetera and have an awesome role model to look up to. But hating on someone just because they have a lover makes you look insecure, obsessive, controlling and self-entitled. Whether they're dating or not, they made that decision for themselves because maybe it makes them happy like the way their attitude and music made you feel inspired and happy too. Instead of slandering them because they're dating someone, we should be supportive or at least respect them. We should all really humble ourselves... If you really admire your idol, you'd want them to be happy, that means some sort of freedom. I understand that having a relationship can hinder a celebrity's fandom and career, I'm just trying to point out the toxic fans. If their fans weren't controlling and toxic, then all the better, it wouldn't change much unless the fans felt entitled to their idols attention only. Many fans are toxic because jealousy gets the best of them. Jealousy is natural but becoming possessive and abusive is ugly, it's like one season they're boasting about how much they admire this particular idol and then once news about their dating life or even a tiny dating scandal shows up, they flip out... It's disappointing... If your idol starts dating and you feel abandoned, GG's for you... You should get a reality check! FYI I LOVE BEOMHAN AND GROWING AND LEARNING TOGETHER I REALLY WISH ALL THE BEST FOR HIM AND HIS HEALTH ALSO I FAILED MY EXAM :c BUT I GET TWO MORE CHANCES! its important to never give up but it's also important to know when it's time to change and move on Be your own kind of beautiful 😇

In my opinion, he has to understand that the “idol life” requires him to take all the negative things people say about him and swallow it. Also means you can’t just say whatever you want to say as that’s not how it works, as even livestreams are scripted ffs. If you can’t take the hate, don’t be an idol. When you’re at that level of fame people will hate you, they will analyze every little thing about you and what you do. He doesn’t suit fame and social media, clearly, and I think he needs to log off of everything. It’s not working and he’s only going to get more hurt, as he’s already spiralling. Him going on that instagram livestream rampage, no wonder he didn’t debut in Korea. If you can’t keep your emotions in check or keep your mouth in check, you’re done for. I understand what I’m saying is harsh but it’s the truth. He’s struggling and we are helping him find solutions to that problem. I hope he gets better but he has to make a choice even if it’s hard to come to terms with.

He just wasn't ready to be an idol, let alone be put on a pedestal where each and every action he performed, every word he said, every thing he does is being continuously judged by literally anyone. He didn't have the necessary support and/or training required to handle all those tough situations and because of that, he kept making mistakes after mistakes. I hope he becomes better spiritually, mentally and as an artist with given time. He's still way too young to face all the darkness that is our society.

Thanks for your video with proper timeline, evidence and unbiased opinions ❤. As someone who used to be a fan (I stopped following him way before the recent incident), I think people were just waiting for him to make a mistake to have a perfect excuse to publicly hate and bash him. I DO believe that what he did was so so wrong in many levels, as he took a very serious topic as women losing rights as a mere joke with sexist tints, and he should be rightfully held accountable. But telling him to end his life, inventing serious rumors and calling him very harmful slurs is not the right way. I'm no longer supporting him nor I think he should come back to his social media usual schedule, but he should seek professional help and stay away from the socmed for his own wellbeing.

This guy is not cut out to be a public figure in any way, I'm sure he's going through stuff but relying on your fans (who most are probably minors) to talk you into eating? This is crossing way too many lines, these people shouldn't be responsible for his well being, he's a grown man and fans shouldn't be subjected to this sort of thing, especially young fans. It feels like when he says these things in his mind it's somehow okay if he makes it a joke in the end, but it isn't, he needs help, not an Instagram live

Also his comments about the election and saying "rip to all women" is incredibly insensitive when many women will be suffering and even dying as a result of stricter ab*rti*n laws. Yes, even as a joke. And no, it doesn't matter that "others joke about it too", just because others do something, it doesn't excuse him doing the same nor makes it any better. Does he deserve death threats over it? Absolutely not, but was the apology needed and are people still allowed to be upset over what he said EVEN after the apology (plus him taking it back too..?) also yes!!

To be honest, this is supposed to toxicity a K-pop. It reveals that American fans can be equally or more toxic than Korean ones. Toxicity benefits from each other. K-pop companies in K-pop fans benefit from the toxic environment that they make. And this is seen and shown. Most of the time a lot of K-pop fans wanted isolated yourself from this but you can’t. Because you are the toxicity, you made it happen. And his story is the best example of it even though he doesn’t have a company. The toxicity is real.

Nothing he said even needed an apology. He said his own opinions that not everyone agreed with and cracked a joke that we should treat ourselves to try to get our minds off of the election. Which is, in fact, exactly what me and the other women in my life did. This guy is just a dude with no media training, but I don't understand why the public doesn't want more freedom for celebrities. I wish media training wasn't so overbearing, but every time a company doesn't have their celebrities on the tightest leashes, people panic at everything they say or do. Free these people, honestly. I hate to sound so right-wing, but why are their literal right to freedom of speech essentially taken away in their contracts.

Fans or ‘netizens’ that get into these parasocial relationships with influencers/idols are hella weird and he was so real for revoking his apology and telling them all to shut the F up. That’s where it should have ended. From what I’ve seen, he receives a lot of love but gets easily distracted by the hate, and those constant reactions and apologies just emboldens those losers to keep hating because they love the attention. He needs to just focus all his attention on the people showing him love, and act like the rest don’t exist because realistically, they have no power so long as he doesn’t acknowledge them.

Depending on the company, he could’ve been under a dating ban. A lot of companies have them and though after some time with the company it may get lifted, there’s always some drama that goes on when grown adults want to start dating. It could’ve just been pushed onto him. I personally think dating bans are dumb but in K-pop culture fans are supposed to be able to see themselves dating the idol. They’re supposed to be boyfriend girlfriend material and them dating breaks the illusion. I heard it’s tougher with jpop too

I honestly feel like people should respect him I don’t care if he is a celebrity or if his a man and disrespected women I don’t care if he did this or that The fact that these people start attacking him without knowing in real life is disgusting and not only that they expect him to act all nice and sweet when they insult him? How does that make sense?? You think that Jennie or wonyoung would start acting nice to you as a fan after all the hate they get? No of course not it’s like a bully if your bully starts bullying you out of nowhere and then after like 3 days they come to you and they start acting nice they expect you to be sweet with them but you won’t be sweet because honestly they disrespected you and made you feel low That’s what’s happening with this dude people say he tried to r*pe a girl which wasn’t true because he showed the evidence then a fan said that he crashed her car with a rental car and ran away Well I guess that was solved Then they got mad because he was putting opinions because of Donald trump and also making fun of women?? I am a women and whatever the fuck people say about us I don’t really give a shit I mean if they make fun of women then let them hasn’t men make fun of women for years?? Damn y’all are seriously sensitive He genuinely seems like a nice funny guy But just because he tried all these days to cope with haters and to not pay attention to them and be nice as possible to even go as far as to apologize Doesn’t mean that he will let hate comments slide keep in mind his a men and I don’t know what his personality is But I have a brother and his personality is chill but if you actually make him mad he won’t hold back no matter what people say to him And beomhan looked chill he looks like a guy who can be chill and all fun and games but if you push his limits you will regret it So if he starts acting all mad and defensive come back to this video and still ask why he is acting like that People first of all fans don’t know how to respect their fav celebs his a human too And also calling words that shouldn’t even be called to a stranger that you don’t even know is messed up All I wanna say is y’all better stay away from internet literally technology is frying your brains 😂
