I mean every one who was around at 1.6 was Warned about skipping her would have consequences and what worse for skippers was Dr. R was free so she was literally the only character in the patch you had to pull for… So ya I don’t feel sry for skippers it’s entirely their fault I mean 1.5 was an easy skip patch so you had 3 characters that were easy skip’s around her so people have no excuses. But if you stated in 2.0+ RIP you will suffer when FF and RM are going to be in the same patch if not the same banner lol. And I personally skipped every one after Jingliu for RM and I got her E1 so ya it’s not hard.

⁠@@soulfulhuman8724 Blade is my favourite to play. So self-sufficient and can also be slapped on basically any team to make it dual DPS. He’s the only character that can realistically solo Swarm Disaster V (if you use Abundance path!) and I have soloed basically every Sim U other than G&G with him because of how independent he is. He’s awesome, and I’m kind of sad how much he gets dunked on for not doing “big boi damage” because that’s really not the point of his kit as much as it is his self-sufficiency and well-roundedness. It’s nice having a character you can slap onto that empty slot when you need that extra boost of damage + damage sponge but don’t know what to put there. Anyway, he is my best baby and I appreciate players that appreciate him as much as I do. ❤️❤️ Good luck with your pulls and relics RNG!!

@@cielsteam I also don't use him as solo dps. He is either used alongside jingliu Or Xueyi. He is getting slept on now bcz we don't have any dedicated support for him. Yes fu-xuan gives him crit rate & ruan mei is universal but having a harmony who can make him fua frequently and scales his hp is just not there. Jade might be considered a new support for him, but I don't think so. Blade is MOC character, jade is well not good for MOC and it is better to use ruan mei over jade anyday. I look at my blade daily for 5 min, embrace his coolness, think about ways to make him more useful and sleep. #BladeMainForever

At first, i was planning on going for Jade and was gonna wait to see Firefly's kit, but now I want both of them. I'm planning on getting Clara, so i think Jade would be good in her team and also, I need more follow-up attackers and quatum dmg dealer. Meanwhile, the super break on Firefly and the destructive damage is very tempting to me too!! Ugh!!! And then there's the reruns! Im worried it might be Huo Huo, Raun Mei or Argenti!! Those are the ones i badly wanted that i feel like might have rerun with the break and wide dmg kits

I am a break playstyle enjoyer. I got Boothill + lc and his 170k break damage is actually so consistent and satisfying. He also breaks them in a milisecond so that's insane.

I have officially decided, thanks man. I will wait for Jade. Firefly is great and all, but I've got my acheron team. I don't need Firefly until later. I have the units that I need desperately, like Aventurine, maybe e2 acheron, Jing Yuan lc, possibly Jiaoqiu. So until I get these must need characters for my account, I can't really do the whole... yeah I'll get them for fun cuz I want them. (I'm literally doing that with Jade, but she happens to pair well with my account, and she happens to pair well with the 100% of her materials that I happened to grind for, teehee).

It seems like Hoyo focused entirely on how to buff Firefly. Expect her Lightcone...that still is very weird. They completely forgot about Jade also needing buffs. Jade is very weird and needs a ton of things to happen so that she can work well. The only unit I see Jade being super fun with is with Blade.

I have a feeling they’re doing what they did with Jingliu and Topaz. Go all out on the hyped destruction character and give scraps to the other one. I mean Jingliu got so many buffs because they knew so many people were hyped for her, while Topaz’s kit was barely touched. (In my opinion)

Somethong people should take in factor is robin herself. Robin works *extremely* well in follow up attacks so jade makes herself useful. if you do not have robin, i dont really think you should bother with jade. She's so stunning ngl

Im tempted to pull for Firefly but I think I want Jade more. Firefly seems really good as a hypercarry up there with Acheron but I personally dont have much fun with hypercarry comps, also the mention of Jade possibly being good with future units was a good point that I didnt really consider. Was so glad I didnt skip Topaz during her first banner, will probably end up regretting it if I skipped Jade.

As someone who has himeko, Herta, and Jing yuan, I don’t have any of them built, and I took a very long break from the game, so I only have Acheron’s team well made. I desperately need someone else for MoC and PF. Now while Jade looks really interesting, Ruan Mei and Firefly are on my to get list. FF will be able to easily cover a MoC side with HTB and Ruan Mei, while Acheron can handle the other. The same is true with PF. And Jade has ever really interested me, if it’s true that argenti and Jade come out at the same time, I’d probably go for argenti. But I have my sights on someone else. Jiaoqu from what I hear will be perfect for my Acheron team. If I replace my E6 Pela with him/her, I’ll be able to do more dmg (assuming he’s nihility), I can do Jiaoqu, Acheron e2s1, Gallagher E6S5, and like Sparkle or someone else. It’s really gonna be interesting how the game will change over the next couple months, it excites me

Jade will be a nice substitute/boost for himeko/herta in stage 4 PF. Take the one we have now for example. Its fire/physical recommended, shove jade on with himeko and go to town. Say its ice/wind weak, shove jade with herta. Fire/ice/quantum weak? Slap all 3 on with ruan mei and clap some cheeks

Lets be real a Destruction character is probably the safest character dps to pull for with their blast damage able to handle trash mobs and be able to handle elite/boss enemies. Erudition as sad as it is are always going to be mid, outside of pure fiction you probably wont be using them anywhere else. There could be some sleeper tech for MoC, but as mentioned you probably need more characters to make them work optimally

1st account Jade cause you have Argenti and Himeko(built right?) And 2nd account Firefly cause you have Boothill but essentially if Ruan mei's rerun comes out I think you should get her because essentially Firefly would get a rerun after a bit, but for Ruan mei's second rerun it could take months or even more than a year.

At the end of the day, it is purely subjective. I just think saying that firefly is self-sufficient in comparison to Jade. Is just factually and functually incorrect. She really needs Ruan Mei for that break efficiency. While yes firefly can deal a decent amount of damage on her own. Most of her damage comes from breaks. Then the misinformation for Jade. When Jade applies her buff to herself she gains double charges. So her basic attack will give her 6 charges. Her ultimate will give her 10 charges. While yes the speed boost is good. 30 is not a major boost. Then you have to talk about her E1 and how busted that one is. She gains, i believe 36% FUA damage. Also she now will always at base gain 3 charges. When an ally with the debt collecter buff. Hits a single target Jade will gain 2 extra charges. If the ally hits 2 targets she will gain 1 extra charge. 3 or more targets don't gain extra charges. When you say a hypercarry Firefly is better then just Jade. Who you admit, makes all previous erudition characters better. While also buffer herself a ton just doesn't make sense to me. Not to mention, lightcones play a big role in the character. Jade's is ludicrously good. Also everyone "Should" have Ruan Mei is a huge amount of hypocrisy. Just cause they should doesn't mean they do. While also saying that she is better for newer players is also just wrong they are roughly the same in value. Cause break effect is a rare stat to get so people could spend several weeks to get a decent set of it. Just saying there are a ton of factors involved. I want Jade cause she a really powerful unit that attacks frequently. Has a bunch of self buffs. Has a godly Lightcone. While also having the potential to hit the highest damage per turn in the game.

You are just u don't need to run ruin mai for firefly without her she does nice toughness dmg plus u could replace her with asta to help with the weakness dmg and gallagher can help with that so don't need ruin mai although she is preferable and firefly is way better for new players as having a weakness implant means that they don't feel pressured into thinking they need every dps for every element so firefly can save u jade's because she will always implant fire weakness newer players can use those jade's on other characters and her team is quite f2p gallagher who was on last selector and he is gonna be on next 4 star selector and hmc is free.

Considering that Super Break doesn't scale with just Break Effect. Then you say Gallagher like that is a game changer. Well if we are talking 4 stars the Jade works with Tingyun. Jade also works with Bronya, Sparkle, and Robin. She also works somewhat with Ruan Mei. Again who you want is purely subjective.

Jade looks cool but 1 it’s FF so ya and 2 lets be real Jades dead on release she’s only really good in PF and as a sup supporter she isn’t better then Topass I.E Jade is a buff for anything HP loss scaling. However Topass is an enabler instead and buffs all FUA units so I can’t really justify summoning for her maybe by her rerun she’ll be useful but by then who knows. Also I shouldn't have to say this but you know how fans react lol... anyway I don't hate Jade at all her kit and animations are cool however she has problems and it hurts her a lot in the current meta.

I'm in the exact same boat as the OP, I don't care about firefly at all and was originally more interested in SAM. You are entitled to like and pull for firefly just as much as anyone else is entitled to dislike and skip her

Technicaly u need two units in your team, DPS an sustainer [healer, shielder]. So pull for what u need. But HSR givs u a workable healer pretty soon so u probably need DPS right now.

There's always gonna be another newer, and therefore better dps character than the last because the game centers on powercreep. E6 the dps character that you feel will give you the most satisfaction playing with.

Depends on who you have tbh. If you wanna run mono quantum or dhil you want sparkle to make it easier. Robin helps enable the ipc team a lot more along with being a great support follow up attackers like Clara.

Jade follows the erudition path but with FuA playstyle. Just like Topaz and Ratio follows the path of hunt yet their gameplay revolves around “FuA”

jade only provide a buff to select character so acheron won't get a ult stack and, firefly "can" be use as sub dps or dual dps but you going to lost a lot of dmg potential from her and you going to have sp problem

@@-XxENIA- well if you already reach penacony and have harmony trailblazer you could try and get firefly or jade as sub dps and paired it with ratio or you can get firefly and if you don't have hmc yet you can use other support like asta because firefly have her own super break dmg but you won't get same results as firefly paired with hmc you probably lost 1/3 or 1/2 of dmg

Not necessary . Raise Sampo , Serval , Himeko , Herta & Gui is enough . After that you need support . I mean not all AOE DPS just 4 of them for at least 4 element weakness coverage . You can bring someone like Fire MC & Fu Xuan too as they have AOE ult with decent damage .

In boothill's kit he only deals break damage not superbreak. In firefly's case she doesnt have the same kit as boothill but instead its just superbreak that is little weaker than HMC buff

Well in boothill's case, it's not super break damage, but it's the normal break damage that is dealt when the enemy is broken, so it ki da similar to super break, I should have clarified it more
