One of my really close friends is from Korea and she says that being touchy with each other like that for men is just part of the culture. Btw they didn’t drop out of school if anything education is really important to them. Jin even graduated college in 2016. Jimin and RM did good in school w/ A honor roll. RM is basically a genius IQ-148. Besides Jungkook having to miss a lot of days of school because he had to keep up with the group too, he still maintained his grades and graduated in 2016.

I honestly think it's because homosexuality is SO taboo, people can be super touchy without being accused of being homosexual since it's literally just not on the radar of "possibility," if that makes any sense. So no one is going to say, "oh that person must be gay because they're super touchy" or whatever, because homosexuality is considered so abnormal. Things are changing more now ofc (there was recently a Pride rally in Seoul), but generally speaking, I believe that's how the culture is. I've been to Korea multiple times but am by NO MEANS an expert (plus I identify as straight), so this is just my opinion!

that intro song is "attack on bangtan" and it's such a bop! it's actually the first song that i've heard from bts and also song that got me into them!! also tae didn't give rm 4 o'clock, tae wanted to make his own song that he could perform himself, so he asked rm to help him and rm composed it and helped tae write the lyrics to 4 o'clock but they perform it together. and that performance during jungkook's part is Mic Drop remix at the 2017 MAMAs and it's hella dope because they performed cypher 4 right before and then added like 4 dance breaks in the song. butternut :))

Btw bts were able to attend jungkook’s middle school graduation because even though bts debuted since jungkook was 15, jungkook had already been training with the members since he was around 13-14. In Korea you’re also 14 when you graduate middle school just like the US. Also bts were flopping until jungkook was around 18 so unfortunately he didn’t get much clout in his younger days :( Also I am someone who’s known bts from 2013 (their debut) and honestly watching them grow is just as or even more overwhelming than you guys can imagine. jin's lawsuit joke is a play on korean words. cow in korean is pronouced "so" and he added the english word "song" and if you combine these two, you'll have "sosong" which is lawsuit. most of his gags are like korean-english combinations and i also get confused at first (i just laugh because of his laugh lol) but when you actually hear more of it, you'll get the hang of it. btw, the song on the intro is Attack on Bangtan. your reaction is cool and funny. thank you for reacting to BTS!

I'm so glad you touched on how BTS are comfortable touching each other. The technical word for it is "skinship" and it's common between same-sex friends in Korea, both guys and girls. I really appreciate that it got such an endorsement among you guys! I think so many in our western culture are suffering from a lack of affectionate, non-sexual touch. As far as 'get in touch with your feminine side' I would go so far as to say that (to a certain extent) it's not even a 'feminine' side. It's just an 'affectionate' side. We all need it. Schooling: they all finished. Jin graduated from college this past spring, and will begin graduate school in the fall. Dang. That live performance clip at the beginning of Jungkook's segment: YES. You must watch it. That was at the MAMAs if I recall. I can never get enough of that part because I can't help but look to the right of Jungkook and watch V. His body rolls...damnit, he bias wrecked me again. Jungkook: they are so not kidding that he's good at Every. Thing. You're question about "GCF" - yes, that's him. He's not just editing. He did it all, from filming to release. (All of these guys have so much passion, hard work, and creativity coming out of every pore it's ridiculous.) He's 20 now, which is why he didn't drink alcohol with the guys after the BBMAs. Their 'after party' of choice was to eat in a room together and stream live their reactions with Army, instead of accepting any of the invitations to go out to the others. He can drink in Korea, but he respected our laws while he was here and toasted alongside the others with a coke. I predict that they will come to love all seven members, but eventually each one will have a bias. Mine is Jimin and his dancing just transports me to an alternate universe. He's the one who had so much air time at the very end. It was a lot of fun watching you take the new guys further down the rabbit hole of BTS. Oh and PS... *BUTTERNUT*

29:20 I'm glad you brought up the touching aspect. I'm Asian who grew up in America and no exposure to Asian entertainment until my older sister got me into Kpop. I learned that it's actually common for the same sex to be physically close with each other --- hugs, rubs etc. and I remember being confused and questioned. It turns out physical affection is normal in Asian communities between close friends. It's like how some European countries consider kisses as greeting whereas Americans would consider that weird.

Dude in the cap is gonna be so confused when he finds out bts have a whole alternate universe with concrete and established stories of their youth as kids who got together as friends and their troubles along the way. All their music videos from 2015 and onwards link back to the alternate world bts created with bts members playing characters in that universe. They’re probably the first kpop group to establish an alternate world where there’s theories and concepts that feed into their storylines. BUTTERNUT! BUTTERNUT! BUTTERNUT! BUTTERNUT! I'm so happy you guys reacted to this because if really starts off your whole journey of getting to know BTS. But after watching the video I wanted to let you guys know of a few things. -When you see their names, it usually last name first and then their first name. I heard one of you guys comment about V and how you may have thought that his name was Kim. His real name is Kim Taehyung. So Kim would be his last name and Taehyung as his first name. -No members dropped out of school. They all graduated highschool. And they are all currently enrolled in University right now. Except for Jin (the eldest), he graduated University last year, and he is currently doing his masters degree right now. Suga is going to be graduating University this year. Big Hit (their company) even offered to pay for Suga's tuition since he didn't have a lot of money growing up. Crazy right? -Also with School, yes Jungkook was in Highschool while the group was together and performing. There were times where they would attend and perform at an award show, then Jungkook would have to go to school the next day. Jin would usually drive Jungkook to and from school. -You also don't have to just refer to the guys only by their stage names, you can just call them by their regular names too. Whatever is easier for you guys. By order of age: Jin, Suga/Yoongi, RM/Namjoon, J-Hope/Hoseok/Hobi, Jimin, V/Taehyung/Tae, Jungkook/JK ***If you guys had any questions about BTS , always say it in the video. Because there are so many ARMYs here that are willing to help in the comment section and answer any questions that you have in relation to the group or the company or whatever it may be. We're all here to help and educate people on BTS because they are truly a group that you have never seen before. Good luck on your adventures of getting to know them even more!!

Jin also got his masters while having insane schedules and he's the one who drove Jungkook to school. Jungkook was literally raised by his members, he admitted it himself in their documentary Burn The Stage, he said ' I am the manifestation of all their personalities coming together.' It's really sweet. He used to cry because he missed home and the members especially Jimin comforted him. Crazy story, Jungkook was scouted by seven companies larger then BigHit, but Jungkook saw a video of RM rapping so he chose BigHit instead. Keep in mind BigHit was a small and poor company

Hi guys!AR I love this reaction so much, you are respectful and truly interested, there is a little misunderstanding, RM is one of the main lyricists in BTS and he helped V to compose 4 o'clock, that song is performed by V not RM, what V said is that he wanted to have her own song after he saw RM, Suga and J-hope perfoming their own songs on stage. Something interesting is that as you saw J-hope is the last one to join the rap line, it was thought for be to do it while Jhope would be in the singers line, but because V wanted to be part of the singing line J-hope trained for the rap line, and it turns to be that he is super gifted. I am coming late to this video but thanks very much for the appretiation. Butternut! xD

BTS came from a small company, they started with nothing. Jin who was casted just because if his looks, Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to do, Namjoon who was never supported by his parents, Jimin who thought of himself as ugly and fat, Taehyung whose always been a part of BTS but was never shown any promotions- not until they debut Hoeseok who seemed to always laugh, but never felt as an accomplishment to his father, And Junkook who was very shy and has saved his parents at a young age by auditioning into companies. Remember the days when they were struggling? They even have to sacrifice and work hard just so they could eat? They are squeezing themselves into one small apartment and have to take responsibilities- the reason why they wrote the sing 'Move' Those times when him in had yo starve himself just because people called him fat and ugly. That one interview when Yoongi says; it was nice that people listen to their music because Taehyung and Junkook are good looking. And he thought that it was at least enough. Do you remember when Hoeseok was supposed to be the vocalist and Taehyung was supposed to be the rapper, but he chose to be rap instead and learn it since Taehyung wanted to be a vocalist. It was Raegyumgs dream and Hoeseok loves his dongsaeng that much he would sacrifice Other canvases were accusing then of playgurism just because they had the smallest detail whose the same with another big K-pop group which is actually just a coincidence. The was a time when Yoongi packed 300 gifts and letters just to give to their 300 fans who will attend at their mini fan meetings. So why do people judge them so fastly? Dud you know that Jimin came all the way to Seoul from Busan just to persuade his dreams? Did you know that Taehyung lives with his grandma for almost half his life making him innocent from what else is out there in our world? Did you know that set aside his embarrassment just to meet the others expectations? Yes, he is the golden maknae, but he suffers too when he sees his hyungs havung a hard time, he cries. There was a time Jimin giyd him crying because he missed his family. Junkook often cried secretly so his hyungs wouldn't worry. Did you know that Jin auditioned to make his mother proud of so she would have something to brag about to those judgemental neighbors they have. He worked hard on his vocals yet people called him talentless. Did you know that Namjoon worked to produce songs, yet there was a time his mom ruined his computer and broke his mic so that he could focus on studying? Did you know that Hoeseok auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him? Because he felt like he was a disappointment? Those rookie days where they only listen to the awardings and be amazed by their seniors. They can't do anything but watch those idols revive their awards. The days when they are happy with just 300 views on KZbin, mini fan gatherings little followers and one daesang award. They are content. Now they've reached the top and became more successful, from 150 fans to 6M and counting, from a small practise room to a bigger one, from a cramped dorm with roommates, to a big dorm with each of them having their own room, from one award on daesang, to MANY more and even winning the BBMAs BTS never expected this before their fouryh yaer anniversary, they've come so far- so far that the only chance we have to meet them is by going to there concerts or seeing then on the streets, which there is like a 0.00001% chance of happening. But really ARMYs!! We've cone this far Can, let's live them and support then till the end! A true ARMY shall spread this~
