I this my theory revolving the dual core. So destroying one destroy the other right? Right So the rapture must be aware of this fact since well the ark started being built, so in an effort to reclain the twin core from the humans because you know it would spell doom for them if they break it, so the bumrush the ark with all they got, but that plan came to a fail because cinderella just took a stab to the heart of the operation and well just throwing numbers is no longer feasable, so now they are at an impasse, BUT THIS WHERE MY THOUGHTS COME IN so noone in the ark knows that that core is a twin, so basically the rapture all they have to its to make damn sure humans cant reclaim a damn inch of land and keep them underground for as long as possible, keep them depending on the core, keep them depending off the ark, the moment the ark is render obsolete, is gg for the rapture as the core is most likely the first thing to be dismantled of the ark, and well to replenish their numbers again scrap together some blacksmiths so they can gain back strength or at least keep the loop going since they still have the advantage of being dispersed around the world

I think the coexistence D.E.E.P. was referring to was the twin cores, not rapture cores but specifically Rapi and Red Hood’s core. It has been researched by the C.E.O. of Missilis and Elysion that having two cores in a body will just repel each other. The main reason is simply because they are different people. Clashes between ego causes destruction when being forced to coexist. So I don’t think D.E.E.P is connected to Red Shoes. If anything, I’d say Enikk and Einkk are similar to this Nikke. Which makes me think their specifications are the same. Only reason for that is she didn’t work on any Grimms model or mass produced ones, so technically she is neither of those. Also, twin cores are now a main topic with having Kilo/Talos and Rapi/Red Hood being a powerhouse.

Coexistence between Humanity and Raptures may be questioned when Marian and Commander meets again. Both their philosophies contradict each other. We also have the existence of Sixo and Central Government knowing about the “power source”. Basically 4 factions are fighting. Enemy humans, raptures destroying everything, beings who wants to reclaim the surface and Marian faction(coexistence) will be the main points for the upcoming war.

(Voice actors)* D.E.E.P. - TBA *(QotD)* If you had asked me just a few episodes ago, my assumption would have been "No way, there's no chance of that happening", since (unless I'm forgetting something or there's something I'm not aware of) so far, apart from the Queen, all of the Raptures we've seen have just been mindless monsters. But then there was Behemoth and Leviathan. Humanoid Raptures, who can talk, leaving the door open for there to eventually be more amenable Raptures who can even be reasoned with. So yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if that's where the story's headed. Heck, it wouldn't even surprise me if there are eventually _playable_ Raptures.

Actually, there are XD Nhilister (the red head dragon themed character I got a while back) is a playable Rapture. And for all purposes, Cinderella is one as well. She’s the original. In the story, the humanoid raptures called her their predecessor. That was ironically Red Shoes’s main goal. Coexistence with the raptures, starting with Cinderella. I’m assuming they used what they learned altering Cinderella to make more Heretics as they’re called. Red Shoes would be loving every bit of this 😭

1. *(D.E.E.P. - Meta Purpose)* The presence of this being troubles me. Only on a few select occasions have I encountered beings behaving and operating remotely like this, and the resolution they ultimately serve to provide is quite...inconclusive. In the simplest terms possible, they remain enigmatic in near-perpetuity, even after the main plot wraps up. I must warn you now: If you are looking for answers regarding their origins and motivations, do not move forward under the expectation of finding any spelled out for you. If the game ever provides such answers, don't expect to receive them anytime soon. Gacha games do not like to give away such details by design for the sake of keeping the game going longer. If you choose to continue playing, you will ultimately be in it for a years-long long haul. With how frequent events are with this game, and how heavily invested you've found yourself in the story, I would heavily recommended planning ahead a fair bit on other playthroughs you may have an interest in doing. 2. *(D.E.E.P. - Character)* D.E.E.P. is a rather peculiar character, referring to itself as "we," suggesting it's not just a singular entity, but multiple in one body. Such a being, however it came about, is likely much more complex than anything else on the surface, bar none. This is, more likely than not, by someone or something's design. The comparisons to certain entities in the _Marathon_ franchise I've been alluding to for a while start to come into play a bit more with this revelation. As to how.....I don't have enough time to explain. You'll have to watch through MandaloreGaming's reviews of Bungie's early games to get a relatively simple grasp of what I'm referring to. 3. *(Ultra Massive Core)* The presence of this beneath the Lift is as astonishing as it is terrifying. It implies quite a few horrific possibilities. A) The Lift itself, from base to tip, might itself be one giant Rapture. B) The Raptures may indeed have purely Earth-bound, man-made origins. C) The Rapture Queen, while seeming to be necessary for replenishing Rapture forces during the initial invasion, was never the central hub commanding them all. The implications of all this is staggering on its own, and very unsettling to consider, especially with regards to the next point... 4. *(The Ark Connection)* ☢️ *WALL OF TEXT WARNING* ☢️ The fact that the Ark's power source is a second UMC that's directly linked with the other suddenly makes a lot of pieces click into place, and reveals the true nature of just about everything that's happened over the last 100 years in the game's story. The invasion, the creation of Nikkes, the failed assault of the Lift by the Goddess Squad, and the evacuation of humanity to the Ark; it was likely all planned and intentional. The existence of both UMCs and their connection to one another suggests a pre-invasion origin and deliberately engineered designing and sinister planning. A conspiracy likely emerged from within one of the pre-invasion governments and a handful of powerful industrial figures to assert control over all of humanity by malicious means, even if doing so could be self-destructive in nature, for the sole intent of leaving the survivors of the invasion with no other likely alternatives to turn to for survival. The Raptures would have been created as the means of fulfilling this objective by presenting humanity with an overwhelming enemy force. As the ensuing war progressed and circumstances evolved, the conspirators would find themselves in positions of ever-greater power and influence and find themselves at the top of the Central Government by the time the Ark was made ready for use. The Nikkes were created as a means of combating the Raptures early on in the war (using the same tech that was originally used to make the Raptures in the first place), but would not be sufficient to fulfill the mission of defeating the invasion. If we take D.E.E.P. at their word of being able to see everything around the Lift UMC and further consider the connection to the Ark UMC, it's likely nothing humanity could produce would have ever been enough to put a stop to the invasion as the Raptures evolved and became stronger, using humanity's own research and development against it en masse. In spite of this, great promise was shown in the Goddess Squad before the evacuation phase of the plan was to be carried out, and they were prepared to attack the Lift, something I believe the conspirators were counting on and had multiple contingency plans for. With this in mind, I now believe Red Shoes' intentional corruption of Cinderella (and all the cases of corruption that would follow) was merely salt on an already painfully deep wound. The sudden and rapid deployment of Raptures on site (as seen in the _Red Ash_ event) and the likely damaging of the elevator by the Queen (had they made it that far, as had happened during the _Old Tales_ event) would have likely made completing the mission borderline impossible, with too many losses sustained along the way (mainly from falling off the elevator). If they somehow succeeded despite it all (which they very could have, seeing how Cinderella, in her Rapture-enhanced, post-corruption state, was able to do the job alone), I'm willing to bet a contingency plan for removing the Goddess Squad and the second generation Grimms model Nikkes from the equation was already in place long before then, possibly by simply detaching the space station from the top of the Lift with them all locked inside it if the Queen was made inoperable. I have few doubts the plan would have been for the damage sustained to them after the fall of the space station back to Earth and the inaccessibility of the resulting crash site would have given the conspirators ample time to initiate the final stage of evacuating a "fortunate" (read: highly influential and wealthy) chunk of humanity to the Ark while the actual successful outcome of the mission was covered up. Framing the mission as a failure would have served as an excuse for the evacuations while any loose ends would have been tied up (such as Abe and other such in-the-know figures that might have possessed contradicting information) in the meantime as the Central Government came into being, putting the conspirators firmly at the top as the surface was being permanently lost. Assuming all this lines up, had things gone to plan in _Red Ash,_ chances are the conspirators in the Central Government and their decendents would have essentially controlled the Ark like monarchs living in luxury in complete secrecy while the rest of humanity toiled with the hopeless prospect of reclaiming the surface from the Raptures. Any situation where the attack on the Lift ends in failure or is framed as a failure results in some variation of this outcome, so long as the Raptures continued to operate thereafter. So long as the top of the Lift could not be reached, which the Central Government would obviously aim for so as to give humanity and the Nikkes an endgame target to destroy the Rapture threat (despite knowing it wouldn't work that way), the conspiracy would remain undiscovered and the war would continue indefinitely. The Surface Reclamation Wars demonstrated that humanity would be hard pressed to make any meaningful progress, and if D.E.E.P. was telling the truth about her defense of the Lift UMC, no one was getting near enough to it to shut it all down. Ironically, Red Shoes' activities is where the conspiracy goes awry, as the mission was basically aborted before the Lift could be approached. As a consequence, Cinderella's squad was later able to do it themselves and took the Queen out of the picture. Considering how the Central Government was preparing to arrest the whole squad beforehand, it seems quite plausible the conspirators knew the risk they posed to their wider plan...and why all records relating to the second generation Grimms models were subsequently erased. It's quite possible Abe knew something about this conspiracy and sought certain measures to keep ahead of it by going rogue to keep the rest of the second generation Grimms models operating. The fact that she had one more Nikke operational than she should have seems like a pretty big hint toward the possibility she wanted to maintain a hidden ace just in case (it never really got directly addressed in the story, either). Whether Abe premeditated the second attack on the Lift the whole time by influencing Cinderella into pursuing it is something that'll have to be considered at a later date, but the end result of that mission basically ensures that cracks will begin to show in the conspiracy if the truth ever makes it's way to the general population of the Ark and to the rest of the Nikkes. I may be missing a lot of information on the wider story of the game, but I don't have much reason to believe the wider concept is not altogether inaccurate. Variations of it have been done quite a few times before with similar levels of complexity. 5. 40:01 "The meaning of life is to give life meaning to others." QOTD: Coexistence is the way the story is probably going to end, but I'm confident enough to say it won't be by conventional means. I don't know what form that will take specifically, but I'd expect it to be against the present desires of the Central Government.

Woah woah woah, what tha… Nah, I don’t have much time but I need to respond to this. You think humanity’s downfall was planned?!?! … That makes a terrifying about of sense. You’re correct in that there are details you’re missing… But I’m afraid they only serve to backup that claim. Here are two examples: one- the arc’s power source (which we found out what it was here) has been used to keep one individual alive. It’s not impossible to think the government are using that same technology. But the biggest one… The master control A.I. over the ark. A piece you’re missing is that it made a deal with the raptures, as quite frankly they already know where the ark is. They would give them NIKKEs in exchange for leaving them alone. I’m not sure how much the A.I. knows. In fact, the D.E.E.P. could be working for her, I don’t know. But if its goal is to maintain the government’s position in an endless war, nothing it’s done has hampered that. 🤔 I guess we’ll find out soon. Rapi + Red Hood and Cinderella wouldn’t be according to plan. We’re a legitimate threat now if the government does fear that. (Which they did bring up, political wise that we could seem to be gaining too much power with our successes. That’s before Rapi’s transformation or Cinderella, which we’re trying to keep hidden) In short, your idea may have more merit than you think. There might be a bigger villain from humanity than Red Shoes. I hope the final scenes, that release tomorrow can at least shed some more light on it.

@SenpaiBlade As you can probably guess, it's not the first time I've encountered a situation similar to this, but if this theory pans out as I described it, it would be probably one of the most extreme examples of such a concept I've seen executed. More on that later. If the Ark's power source has been used to keep someone alive, then it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume that as one of the missing pieces that reinforces the idea that the conspirators were also utilizing it to ensure their eternal rule. That was not a what I anticipated to be going on, considering Nikkes already have extended lifespans on their own. Using the same tech would have also served that purpose, but probably not to the same extent as being connected to the power source itself. The detail that the Ark's master control AI struck a deal with the Raptures to leave them alone is a bit peculiar, but not altogether unexpected. It's probable that the Raptures were originally designed to operate autonomously without threatening the Ark, but the escalating corruption cases instigated by Red Shoes' tinkering meant corrupted Nikkes posed both a new potential threat and opportunity originally unanticipated by the conspirators: Rapture commanders with independent thought processes. However the deal came about precisely and whatever the means the AI used to make it work, it ultimately serves to keep the war going in perpetuity by providing the Raptures with a new source of reinforcements, particularly in light of the Queen's apparent destruction thanks to Cinderella. By the time the Surface Reclamation Wars were in full swing, there were few concerns the Ark would be attacked by them. There's a good chance many of those in the Heretic classification of Nikkes were among those given over to the Raptures. As for the greater majority, however...I think they were used in another way, and it adds to just how dark the situation really is. It's my understanding that it is implied, if not outright stated, that Nikkes are used in some way to keep the power source of the Ark operating. In light of the consideration that the UMC is the power source, it would make sense that the same would apply to the Lift UMC. In a sense, the corruption serves as a convenient explanation for Nikkes appearing to go rogue after going to the surface when, in reality, they are being deliberately sent up to be corrupted and subsequently sacrificed to the Lift UMC. If they send up enough Nikkes at a regular pace, enough are bound to survive combat with the Raptures to be corrupted and, if they don't meet the cut to be converted and upgraded in a fashion similar to Cinderella, be subsequently used to fuel the Lift UMC and thus keep everything operating. Come to think of it, that adds a whole new layer of dark context for the unwilling conversion of certain people into Nikkes and the Surface Reclamation Wars... I'm probably missing details again, but I would not be surprised if I was on the right track with the general idea. Only the likes of the _Fallout_ franchise can remotely compete with this level of planning of mass destruction and mass death, courtesy of a faction of the U.S. government that is believed to have initiated an all-out nuclear exchange known as _the Enclave._ If that name rings a bell, remember way back during the _Persona 5_ and _Strikers_ playthroughs when I referred to Shido's group of associates as "Shido's Enclave" occasionally? That's where I thought that was going. As a bonus, the theme for his palace is titled *_"Ark."_* _There are no coincidences._ Your Honor, I rest my case.
