I know an Iraqi guy who is a former translator for Blackwater. Though he was never official US Military, Blackwater was able to get him to the USA on a special visa program for local personnel who served w/US forces. Most personnel with military contractors didn’t qualify, putting their lives in grave danger from the enemies of the US. But the Blackwater personnel had a special “in” and I find it quite interesting how prosperous this guy is. As much as Prince detests Muslims, he apparently found that he had to find ways to keep those who know his secrets quiet.

@Usernameping4 жыл бұрын
D. Steven no you’re not. You’re taxing people for having hoarded such an obscene amount that not only were they unable to spend it all, but they had enough to pass down that their inheritants couldn’t spend it all. It’s the first $11.58 mill per person, meaning Betsy and Erik both would have gotten $11.58 mil BEFORE they got MORE money that was taxed at a rather laughable rate (40%) meaning they got an additional billion-ish each, even after tax. Money, by the way, which was largely attributed to her father’s pyramid scheme (which was part of a court case where yes, it was legally classified as a criminal enterprise, and he was fined approximately 0.05% of the income it had provided him). There’s such a massive wealth disparity that if you’re eligible for the estate tax, there’s practically no chance that your kids won’t also be netting themselves at least double that amount after the tax.
@johndigiacomo16744 жыл бұрын
Usernameping, it's not collecting hoarded wealth, it's "incentivizing" them to work and "improve" themselves. Isn't that the excuse to eliminate welfare, food stamps and housing subsidies? Why is welfare for th rich acceptable, but not for the poor? BTW Prince 's caravans also ran down civilians in Iraq, without stopping.

Prince also funds FRC’s founder, James Dobson, who also started Focus on the Family back in the late 70’s. He was very well respected in the Evangelical community, enormously so. As he became more politically charged, however, FotF asked him to leave and he started his own ministry heavily funded by Erik Prince. Prince is also extremely good friends with the Mercer family and, as you shared, helped find their super-PAC. When Ted Cruz dropped out of the race in May 2016, Rebecca Mercer had quite the conundrum. She was counting on evangelicals to put a Cruz in the White House, but now her racehorse was gone. She knew they’d never vote for Trump given his horrible reputation. I found it extremely interesting that two weeks after Cruz dropped out, James Dobson made an announcement that Trump had become a Christian. I’m pretty sure he was put up to it by Prince, the one who holds the purse strings. Another interesting observation is when the Stormy Daniels story broke. Tony Perkins infamously said that Evangelicals should give Trump “a mulligan” since it happened “before” conversion. Perkins leads the Family Research Council, which the Prince family funds and even paid for their big headquarters. Again, follow the money.

It anchors me to no end the way this video and the media covered what happened in 2007. A vehicle in the convoy was hit with bullets and a grenade. Which left it undrivable. Common sense would say the men exited the vehicle and came under fire. It's nearly impossible to tell where the shots are coming from. Yes women and children shoot at us. At the end of the day Blackwater/Mr Prince was scapegoated.

During the cleanup for the Katrina hurricane there was a Blackwater group of quickly hired security officers of Blackwater that organised for their day next to us. Most were anyone who had ever worked in any kind of security before. Of course they were way overstaffed and racking in the gravy, as were several other companies in different fields of endeavor. Sometimes several of their employees never even went to work all day but what really irritated us was that the whole group would still be there at nine in the morning and couldn't go to work until they had their daily religious evangelistic meetings, all on taxpayers money. To be hired by Blackwater, you had to go along with the religious indoctrination, while Blackwater scammed the government for your pay all those hours. We were working 84 hour weeks.
