Raymond, how did you manage to sit through 15 straight minutes of that music?! The sacrifices you make for us--great review!

Glad you liked it. So many scenes go on forever. The hardest part was knowing the twist the entire time. Not because I had read it, but because it is VERY obvious. Any time I told people the plot of "Word famous love song writer, who can't find love for himself is being harassed by a man calling his girlfriends to talk shit about him" The first thing they say is "So is he the guy calling his GFs?"

He suffers through these full movies so we only have to suffer through his videos.

I managed to miss this film when it came out in 1971, and I picked it up during one of the Kino-Lorber sales. Very strange film that seems to be trying to go in way too many directions, maybe to disguise the fact that the story is weak and makes little sense. The one redeeming factor is the performance of Barbara Harris. Great review!

Thank you for watching my video, I am glad you enjoyed it. Almost every review that is ever kind of positive bases that on Barbara Harris, so you are not alone in your love of her in this.

Yes he wrote books and poetry, but he also wrote songs. Boy named Sue is probably the most famous of his songs.
