Ehhhh everything he ever did was for himself and that became apparent in his monologue while last fighting Mark--as if the use of his children as flails wasn't also evidence enough. I think it's a prettty blatant disregard of his characterization to suggest he at all cared about the Viltrum Empire--he just used it as an excuse for his goal of absolute tyranny over everyone and everything. Mark calls him on it when he points out the conquest is what brought the Viltrumites to nearly go extinct.

The Punisher could also exploit it. I remember reading one of the Venom comics published in the mid-90's. Castle actually manages to defeat Venom very easily by driving up to him in a reinforced armoured vehicle and aiming a mounted ultra-high frequency sound emitter at him. Venom's other weakness was very high heat and/or fire, but Castle played it smart to minimise collateral damage. I could see him defeating Thragg or Omni-Man the same way.

In all honesty, mark by the end of the series is the strongest vilrumite ever, he was competing in strength with his dad, Allen, and thragg (even if not by much) but he was literally an infant by viltrum standards and would not be at his prime strength until much later, possibly thousands of years, so by the end of the series he might not even be at his full viltrumite strength

I somewhat agree. Reason being that there is a peak for Viltrumite power and it is reached well before the thousands. Although they do not get weaker with age, they do not get stronger if they are much older. For example, Conquest is not even close to as strong as Thragg, but he is much older and just as if not significantly more experience. I assume they reach their peak around when humans do, which is when their bodies are the equivalent of a 20-30 year old. Then, they just stay at that peak seemingly forever.

glad I got the invincible vol 21 modern family book where he fights Battle Beast (1:38 trophy fur and 3:23 not for the kiddies lol so much mortal kombat/injustice type of blood) I learned about in new sage's last vid. Definitely a 2 for 1 deal when it went on a digital sale. Sometimes it takes time to find these characters or have a story develop as I read some boring parts of early invincible (hence why the vid is long, unless you get bored of the exposition/blood).
